That looks like the one for the 17-20 model year NX, according to the photo (below) from the Aliexpress store. You might be able to contact them about it since they sent the wrong one to you.

Side note, I ended up getting one off Ebay since it seems to be cheaper than Aliexpress in Canada, will update when I get it and install it.

That's what I was thinking too. Thanks for the confirmation.

You need to select the one for NX22, it's $42. I was wondering how come you only paid less than $20

Looks like the one which is on the side of the trunk area, not on the hatch door. The on/off switch gives it away, as well as the full lens. The hatch lamp is a row of LEDs in a housing that fills the space.

Nope, not that one either. They are both small round LEDs and the size as a dime. Neither one is in a panel type fitting. Not sure how you would even get to them.

Is definitely not the rear puddle lamp either. Mine is a square to where the one sent is rectangular. Bummer.

[QUOTE=SgtLip;11500958]@dc88 Received my rear puddle lamp today. The wife has the car out so I can't get to it yet. This is what I received. But I'm confused. I thought it was larger to take the place of the existing puddle lamp. Is this what you received? Do you take the OEM out and put this in and that's it?

Yep, you received the wrong one. The light is a perfect fit when you remove the OEM light.

Just heard back from the Seller. No refund since I ordered the wrong one from their confusing website. I could have sworn I selected the 22NX but when I went back to order it it defaulted to the 17-20NX model. I can return it at my cost. I asked the Post Office what it would cost and they told me $40. So I told them I'd keep it and give it to a Uyghur Laborer to use to illuminate their slavery to a dark world.

This seems similar to ~$85 OEM Rear Puddle Lamp PT944-78221 part, but at a lower price. The plastic housing looks identical to OEM and the wiring plug makes installation looks like plug & play without need to cut or splice wires.

Inside the housing, the LED light looks like a common 36 or 48 LED COB (Chip-On-Board) panel, so it's likely brighter than the 1 SMD LED or 4 SMD LEDs in the OEM puddle lights.

I've previously upgraded interior dome lights in my 2000s Toyota car from incandescent festoon bulbs to 48 LED COB panels without an issue, so this seems like a good value upgrade, but wanted to double check if anybody had issues before I order as I didn't find any reviews on this product.

Picture below from eBay, left is OEM, right is the aftermarket upgraded LED.
@jturn180 We haven’t seen you since you started this thread. Did you purchase this LED? If so, did it work? Can you update us?

2023 NX350h. On the Acura rear puddle light takes 60 seconds to install. Like the door puddle lights pop it out with a putty knife
Unplug old one plug in new one. Wrap connection with supplied thick protection tape and reinsert.

Few photos of the rear puddle light I purchased from Aliexpress. You can see in one photo where I had to cut and rejoin the wires, I cleaned up the repair using heat shrink. Thanks for the tip “geomike”.
At night you can see it’s a lot brighter, for my needs I need the extra light

.

Thanks! I’m going to order one and see if it works. It’s cheap enough so I won’t feel bad if it’s crap.
