Thanks for the replies everyone. And I hope those also waiting on their cars - get some progress soon. I simply got crazily lucky it seems. Not just in terms of the waiting list, but there are very few of these cars on the road here in Australia. I personally have never seen a single one, despite it being sold since early last year. The dealership where I am buying it told me they have only sold about 5 examples of it since it came out. We have a weird situation with importing cars here - we get very few relative to other countries, being a smaller market. Some cars never make it here at all, and we are low priority compared to US and Europe.

For the record, I am getting the car in "white nova" colour, with red/black seats. In Australia, the 450h+ comes as F-Sport (only). Still need to work through details of my trade-in, but apart from that... the car delivery is slated for about August 10th.

One thing that was interesting - Motortrend's test of the NX450h+ says it did 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds. Which translates as 5.77 seconds 0-100km/h (using the x1.05 rule). Back in 2015 I bought an NX200T at that time, and always found it to have plenty of pickup. So, will be fun to see how this new model goes.
