You’re using adaptive cruise, you accelerate with throttle to go faster
And the message on the screen is push the cruise control button and a + to reset to that speed, I don’t know what that means because when I push the cruise control button it goes off if I push it a second time it comes back on is that what it means?

If you want to increase speed with the ACC on push the + button until you get to the speed you want. When you push the ACC button it will turn CC on, push it again it will turn off.

I know about increasing speed while on ACC using the up arrow on the steering wheel, I’m talking about if you push down with the gas pedal and go past the speed it is set to, the message says to push the cruise control button and then shows a + sign to reset the cruise to that new higher speed but when I push the cruise button it goes off. Not important just thought I’d ask.
if the answer is the way to reset the speed on ACC after accelerating with the pedal is to push the cruise button twice or push the cruise button once then the up arrow because I don’t have a + button.

To my knowledge you can only increase/decrease speed with the +-/up down when using ACC. You would have to use "regular" CC to to increase/decrease speed with the gas pedal and then push "set" like you did before ACC.

It's not the cruise set button its asking you to use, its the RES / [+} button. This will lock in the current speed in place of the current set speed. I'm not sure at what point this button changes from "increment speed" to "set new speed", if other than the message appearing on the display when you reach a current speed a certain amount above the set speed. If you have a HUD (ie no labeled buttons), use whatever button normally is used for "resume"..
