10,000 Mile Service
How much latitude do I have in scheduling this last free service? The instructions say 10k miles or one year whichever comes first. I’m at 9,200 with year’s end in a couple of days. Can I wait till I hit nearer 10k before servicing and still get it done for free?

I think you should check with your dealer. I believe that the 6 month is free not the 12 month. Here is a Canadian dealer I found that offers the a price with a list of the activities below. https://www.donvalleynorthlexus.com/annual-maintenance/ My 16000 km is coming up in a few months but I change my own oil and cabin filter so my dealer will do the other stuff.

In the USA it's every 5k(miles)/6 moths with oil changes every 10k(miles)/1 year (that's in miles - because US can't figure out the metric system)
In the Canada it's every 8k(kms)/6 moths with oil changes every 16k(kms)/1 year (that's in kilometers) - so the same as above. Just different units.

At least in my experience with my wife's 2020 NX300, both of these must be completed within the first 18 months of ownership.

The "whichever comes first" part of the contract is what you can't avoid. If 1 year comes first, then the mileage doesn't matter and vice versa. But ultimately it is the Service Centers decision to make. Call Joe's Lexus of Virginia or whatever the name of your dealer is and see what they say. Like someone said above, it is their decision to make, not mine or yours regardless if it makes sense. I have a 450H+ and the ICE hardly ever runs. So why do I need the mileage/date requirement? But that is the contract I signed.

The 2 services are included free, both the 5k (which is mostly checks & rotation) and the 10k (which) includes the Oil change & cabin filter change.

This is what I was told by my dealer. I paid to have the oil changed at my 5,000 mile service.....I only put 5k miles on it in the first year and I know a mechanic I trust who isn't a fan of the 10k interval for oil changes. When I was there my advisor told me I had 18 months from purchase to complete the 10k service.....which for me will be this December. I have 6500 on it now and have several trips planned in the fall so I'll be close to 10k by Dec. Either way I plan to schedule it before it expires.

In the US, you will have two free maintenance services; first tire rotation, regular check ups, and my dealer offer free car hand wash and waxing. Second time they do oil change, tire rotation and car wash. All lexus in the come with free two maintenance at a 6 month intervals.

Lacking a definitive answer to the question of a free service after the years end date, I had my service at exactly one years use. It included oil and filter change, tire rotation, cabin filter change, and wash and vacuum.
