Lower headlights to prevent blinding others?

One of the reasons I went from an IS to an NX is the higher ride height that would prevent me from being blinded by all of the SUVs and pick up trucks on the road.
The other night I had people in sedans flash their high beams at me, so now I feel I am contributing to the problem.
I have the NX450h+ in Ultra Premium (no triple beam) I know with 100% certainty that my high beams were not on. I do all city driving with plenty of street lights, this amount of bright light is not necessary.
Has anyone lowered the aim of their headlights?

I also have this problem, and the wife asked for an adjustment at the first service. They said they were right where they were supposed to be. I get full light on any road sign, they are that high (10 feet at 50 yards). Ridiculous. I will take it in next and demand they be adjusted down. I thought someone had said they were self adjusting? Mine is a base model without triple beam if that helps. Occasionally (10%), they will be down at proper height somehow.

I can't really comment on how well the bi-leds are typically aligned as I don't have them, but just some general observations. Most of the new cars I've had, even going back to the 80s and 90s, I have found the frequency of gettting flashed during the 1st year or so higher as new cars tend to have brighter lights than older cars or ones with basic lights, so a new car with new lights does tend to stand out regardless. Also, back in the day many cars used the standard 2 lights for low, 2 lights for high. Some people out there are tuned to automatically assume high beams are on when they see four lights coming at them and start flashing. Are all 4 bi-leds on with both high and low beams? If so, I think you'll be facing at least some flashing even with headlights pointed into the ground. I do occasionally get flashed with my triples even though I can see the shaded area set below the eye level of an oncoming car. If you get flashed all the time, well ok, maybe something is amiss, but if its occasional, well, not everyone is going to be happy all the time regardless how your beams are adjusted.

Maybe the sedans that flashed at you had their cars too low: blown shocks, being overweight or having a car full of passengers, etc. And those guys are gonna be very busy flashing down newer cars, especially those new Tesla SUV's with ridiculous LED's. (NX is nothing in comparison)
I would just have the dealership check the aim, adjust if necessary and call it a day.
