Covering glossy black areas interior
Anyone else hate glossy/piano black material in their interior?
I was wondering if anyone had a good solution to cover them up.
I've considered some of these but I am wondered this is going to make them look cheap. Does anyone know if you can wrap the interior?

You can either go PPF, matte, or precut trims like this:

For me, I just did a layer of ceramic coating to better keep the smudges off the piano black trims and limit the scuffing.

I had Xpel paint protection film installed mainly around the piano black on the shifter area. It gets wiped down a lot and looks perfect. Guaranteed to be swirled up with everyday use if there was nothing to cover it. My installer was able to look up numerous templates for the other interior pieces in his Xpel program if you were interested in those also.

I like dash kits,..... keep searching there might be few nice kits available. I see a few console and vent covers. Not sure how they look in person. Might be ok...might be cheap looking. Try searching for Carbon Fiber kits... they are the classiest...but expensive.

I REALLY WISH there was a sticker kit to cover it.

I am glad I am not the only one going through this lol.
I also almost bought a different car because of this. Why does Lexus do this? I am going to look into the vinyl kit.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Not just Lexus. We have an 2022 Audi A5 Sportback and the damn interior is the same; black glossy garbage. I think it's a industry trend that's currently in right now. Like I get the aesthetic appeal of gloss black but the damn fact that it's so scratch able makes it irrelevant. The older Lexus generations interiors were made out of matte durable finishes which still is holding well to date.
