We had a 450h reserved. Got the call…it’s coming in around Oct 3 but can’t take deliver until after Oct 21. That was fast. We almost had one. I was hoping it would get to the dealer late Oct. oh well.

That makes no sense to me. What are they doing with it for 18 days? I bought 2 NX's. Here is my Lux. I don't even let them PDI it... my guy knows, off the truck and don't touch it. I prep it, peel it and do it all.

I don't want some 14 year old prepping my $70,000 car for me. So I take it as it comes off the truck. I actually wait there for the truck arrive.

My Corvette and my Nissan GTR, I insisted they let me drive it OFF THE TRUCK. I had to pay the truck driver for that one

My last 2 purchases came right off the trailer. I gave them a good visual, test drove and took them home.
I'm currently out of state where the 450h is coming in. The dealer and I discussed this as I as was reserving it. It's coming into Florida...I'm in Pa until the 21st. The sales person asked (with a tone) if I want to pay in full ...they'll hold it or do I want fly to Florida to pick it up. I asked for different sales person...the guy just about shoved it down my throat. Anyway we knew the timing was bad but hoped for a delivery delay. No biggie.
