I have the same issue on my 2022 ES wich was a refresh year. Never had that issue with prior cars from Lexus. Dealer and company had no solution. I must live with the white vertical bar certain times of the day and year.
I just left the dealership, service manager parked loners in the same spot that I parked in to show him the reflection and when he parked a similar car with a HUD display it showed up but when he parked a similar car that does not have the HUD display or cavity in the dash it does not show up so it is definitely something reflecting off of the walls of the hud display. I took pictures and videos of it and sent them to him and he's going to send them to Lexus and we'll see what they say but it is a design error, if anyone sees this they'll know what I mean because it is an unacceptable reflection that will last for a very long time if you're going in the same direction at the same time of day for any length of time. I say unacceptable because if I knew about this prior there is no way I could have bought it, knowing now that it is a permanent issue that is right in the line of sight.
It is caused by the structure of the HUD cavity in the dash...
Turning off the HUD or changing the angle of it makes zero difference.
