I declined the warranty. And yes, I bought the modern spare.

can't stand em
I've had RFTs on 2 vehicles and they are TOTALLY over-rated. They also seem to wear out quicker and offer a much worse driving experience. I had a Mini Cooper with RFTs and over the course of the 3 year lease I had 6 flat tires. My only saving grace was that I purchased tire and wheel insurance that covered those mishaps as well as the damaged rim from swerving to avoid a collision with a cement truck and instead running over a large rock on the freeway onramp. After the Mini Cooper, I had a Toyota Camry with conventional tires and in the 2 years I owned it, had zero flat tires. Then I bought a BMW 128i Convertible, with RFTs drove it for about 7 years and 68,000 miles and bought 9 separate RFTs whenever one of them had a puncture.
I haven't given much thought to what I will replace the Bridgestone 18R235 tires on my 2024 NX350h with. Any recommendations?

I like the Michelin CrossClimate2 and most likely will replace the tires on my wife's 2024 NX450h+ when they croak. I put a set on her old 2017 Acura RDX several months before we gave it to our DIL. I think that they're a pretty decent tire. Kind of a squirrelly looking tread pattern but, I found several online articles praising them.

Many have said that run flat tires dont last that long, the Bridgestone Alenza installed on my Japan built NX has an 80k mile warranty, I am not saying it will go that distance , only saying it should last longer (if rotated properly) than some softer tires. Many here don't like RFTs due to the noise, I personally dont have an issue with the ride or noise level of the NX. (and when it comes time to replace those tires, I will go conventional tires since I dont have a spare yet , but will get one)

Over rated in what respect. That you got 6 flat tires just means wherever you drive had a high number of hazards during its lifespan, a run flat does not state it wont get punctured.

Good luck with anything over about 25K.

Misspoke
80K warranty, I don't think so----------------I would be interested in knowing how you came up with that. The 235/60-18 have a UTOG of 380 with 8/32 thread depth, the 235/50-20 have a UTOG of 400 with 9/32 thread depth----------------------both relate to about 20K to 25K. Most of the better AS tires have tread depth of 10/32-12/32 and a UTOG of 700 or higher.

spare tires for NX350H
I have found 4 options for a spare for my 2024 NX350H;
Moderm Spare $428 tire and wheel only, incl $48 for shipping, tire is Kuhmo T155/90 R18M, speed rating M 81 mph - alloy rim 18 x 4, bolts 5 x 4.5 (114.3) no weight stated. This appears to be the best tire choice (IMHO).
EZ Spare tire and wheel for $420 incl $81 for shipping. Alloy rim175/70 R20M, same bolts ( obviously), speed rating M 81 mph. WT 48lbs, big rim less tire, bright red!!. not likely to ride as nice as a 18" rim (IMHO)
Third option was Amazon sells the exact same tire as modern spare for $139 but tire only and I could not find a 18 x4 -5x4.5 wheel. most wheels I found are bigger (18 x 7) and at least $220, so ...... $220 + $139 + mount and balance ($40)= 399?? not worth it.
Forth option found this on ebay. I think from a salvage yard,$255 free shipping. steel black wheel, no detail about tire size or rim. Cheap & ugly likely to get the job done.

Found a company called Stance Magic, they make spares for Tesla only but have a 18 x 4 alloy wheel with 5 x 4.5 (114.3) bolt pattern. I've asked them if just the wheel is available and if their rim would fit the NX350H
I carry a dual piston air compressor made by Slime, a Slime brand tire puncture repair kit and a jack, I plan to buy and mount a spare tire on the vertical post on my Yakima swing away bike rack when on long road trips, as the bikes will be going with. Or I just put it in the back. I self installed the Draw-Tite 2" hitch receiver to mount the bike rack. 625# tongue wt. rated. Walmart $199. Fits really nice. From what I understand, once you drive on an under-inflated run flat tire it will need to be replaced. What roadside service station out in the middle of nowhere will have this tire?? I have AAA but it could be hours to see a flatbed truck to haul you away or repair the tire, if it can be repaired. Love the car except the lack if spare. Still searching for a cost effective solution.

Google this: "alloy rim 18 x 4, bolts 5 x 4.5 (114.3) " You can find lots and lots of wheels or go to tire rack,
Are you looking for the least expensive solution. I know Modern Spare is a little expensive, but it is proven and it works. if you get the carrying case you can put it in your NX when you want security and peace of mind in having a spare for long trips. But you can easily take it out for around town, normal commutes, or when you need the extra space for hauling stuff.
Good Lick in getting your spare that makes you happy
YMMV,
