Default Active cruise control at a stop in line at In-N-Out

In the past if I’m on flat land emergency break does not come on at any time no matter how long I’m in line but recently it has come on which means it disengages the active cruise control. Never used to do this don’t know why happening now.

The time limit is 3 minutes. If the dynamic cruise brings you to a stop and nothing happens, adaptive cruise will cancel and parking brake is set. The manual has a section that describes this in more detail.

So it goes all the way down to zero MPH and back up? I thought maybe it disabled at 10 MPH. I have used it much except on the freeway, I'm new to Dynamic Cruise coming from a 2015 NX300h.

I was wondering the same thing. A little scary to test the first time.

I guess I don't understand why you'd be using any kind of cruise control in a drive-up lane. Or anywhere else but on the highway, for that matter.

The emergency brake assist is pretty finicky at times. I had someone walk close to my car while in a drive thru line and I didn't actually notice them approaching right away, but car hit brakes full on. Good thing I didn't have a coffee in my hand!

Dynamic Cruise control, as mentioned does time out if you're stopped and don't move for some time. If you press the brakes it cancel's, if the car in front moves after a short time (and you haven't touched the brakes) you are warned that you can press the accelerator pedal and it will begin again up to your set cruising speed.

Or you can just touch the 'Resume' button on the steering wheel (which also appears on the HUD if you have that)
