So you know that piano black plastic that surrounds the shifter. I found a solution. I covered it with this matte black frame. The cover has similar wood grain to the door inserts and is 100% finger print and dust proof.
Just so everyone has a heads up... this seller sent me the shiny carbon fiber plastic version. I sent it back and they never sent the correct part and never gave me a refund. FYI
The part is plastic with a fake wood grain print. The surface is completely smooth and finger print proof. There are no groove like simulated wood grain. Overall the plastic seems durable.
It was so easy to install. I first dry fit the parts to make sure they fit properly and I liked them. I actually drove around for the day to make sure. On the back side there is double sided tape. I simply wiped the piano black clean (for the last time..lol) and then removed the red tape covering the adhesive. I first installed the part that goes to shifter area. Perfect fit. I then installed the upper section. Perfect fit. So far it looks and feel great. If I didn't know better, I would think this was a factory part.
One thing to look for. On the back where the adhesive is attached, make sure it doesn't extend past the button openings. Mine did so I peeled the adhesive back away from the edge.
It took about 1 week to receive from China.
I saw that the original ebay listing is sold out. If you scroll down on the listing it shows other listing exactly like this one. I saw they also sell glossy wood covers, but that would defeat the purpose. The matte black is the only way to go.
Funny story, I also wanted to buy the matte black wood covers, and the seller sent me the what he called "better and more expensive upgraded cover" that looks like zebra wood with stripes and horribly looking, anyway I threw that horrendously looking piece of *** in the trash where it belongs. I never got any refund, nor the matte wood replacement.
That seller sent me a zebra wood looking piece and no refund or replacement :-/
Here is a zebra wood looking one, on a picture it looks ok, but in reality it looks pretty bad IMHO.

Ebay covers you 100% on items you ordered but received a different product. Unless your listing said if out we will sent you a comparable item. You should have opened a case with eBay to get a refund. The lighter looks better with your interior.
I’d personally prefer a matte black wood or matte metal type finish or matte carbon fiber trim.
This looks much better. Anything is better than piano black. I wish they had a carbon fiber. How will this hold up to high temps and summer sun? Peeling?
Carbon fiber is available, too. I've had it for almost 2 years now.

I ordered this from Ebay. I haven't received it yet. I offered $70 and they accepted. They probably would have accepted a lower price. It says it is matte black. We shall see.
