Wallet key card on 2024 NX ?
Hi
In a few days I get my NX350h after waiting 14 months. I drove a IS300h before and loved the wallet key card.
My dealer told me that it is not possible to get a wallet key card anymore because of the new ultra wideband security feature
on the 2024 NX models.
But I dont trust the dealer. Are some users here that have a new 2024 NX with this ultra wideband feature a wallet key card?
Or bought one afterwards?
I don’t want to use the regular key fob. The wallet key card is much more convenient.
Thank you

Same here. We purchased a 2024 NX450h+ in December 2023 and it came with the key card.

Bought my NX 350h in mid-Jan 2024, and it also came with the key card.
Also recently just got a letter informing me that the 2nd key FOB is arriving soon sometime in March.

My 2024 350h Premium, USA (built in Japan), was delivered in May 2023--with the wallet key card and one FOB. I received my 2nd FOB at the 6 month service. I also have the App so essentially 4 keys.

Like someone else have said this already, I also received my wallet key card with my Canadian built NX350h, which I bought in December 2023. Also, I have been notified that my second key fob will be available in March.

You know... I saw Vienna in your profile and wondered. That may be the case, but to be sure, if there's another Lexus dealer located elsewhere in Austria, I would call to ask. In fact, I would get the New Car Sales Manager on the phone and ask him/her.

Same in UK. No card key.
Only 1 keyFob for 6 months.
Lexus UK said due to ultra wideband security and lack of new chips.
Lexus is the most stolen make in the UK with Lexus RX the most stolen car.
Insurance rates can be very very high for the earlier keys but I found the MY24 NX 450+ less than a RAV4. My guess is that Lexus did deal with Thatcham to keep rating lower and that included no card key. Can save well over $1,000 pa in London so perhaps understandable. What is not acceptable is the Lexus silence on the issue. Some insurance companies are still changing very high rates even on MY24 with some customers being refused insurance.
I have heard that similar theft rates are happening in Canada so expect similar reaction there: 1 on 12 new RX being stolen in London is not a good thing.
