Rear Door Warning Light Comes On
Just bought my 350h in Jan.
Recently, when I start the car, the left side passenger door warning light comes up, even though I checked (open and closed also) that it's definitely closed.
Once I started driving, the warning light does go away after like 30 secs.
Is anyone else having this issue? Can I fix this myself easily or do I need to bring it to the dealer?

Did you try opening the door and try to close the door harder?

Yep, tried that too. I was slamming my door a few times to no avail.
I did watch your video on the anomaly list and know this was one of the issues and tried the recommended door slamming - unfortunately did not work.
I tried looking for some kind of switch on the door to maybe adjust some **** but I can't see any obvious switch on the door that controls the open/close state.

Oh well, I will just have to bring it in to my dealer for a check.
By the way, I think I saw in one of your videos that your car was also showing the same warning light (same as mine).

I just tried manually opening and closing both my rear doors by pulling it open, and also pushing it open. Both to no avail.
Oh well, I will just have to bring it in to my dealer for a check.

This shows you the rear seats are not occupied. Has nothing to do with the doors. When you have rear passengers, the light that corresponds with the seat the passenger is in goes out. I believe this has to do with the climate control system as well. I'd suggest you have a look through the manual, all is clearly explained in there.

Oh, interesting! Glad I asked in this forum then as it was driving me crazy.
I turned off the "something is in the rear seat" warning light, but don't recall there is a "rear seatbelt warning" light toggle. I will recheck the settings if there is one.
You guys have been super helpful!
Thanks all!!!!
