Charge port door is stuck on 2024 NX 450
This is the second time it has happened to me. The charge port door is stuck. I can't open it. I tried locking, unlocking, starting the car and stopping it etc. Also tried a bit of pushing pulling on the door. The first time it happened, I was able to get it to open after a few such tries, but it is really stuck now.
I looked for any way to release the door from the inside (the Teslas have that access), but can't see anything in the trunk. Any advise on how to unjam this door, short of visiting the dealer?

I have both the NX450h+ and RX450h+ models and the RX has a wire loop in the hollow body cavity to manually release the charge port door. In the NX, I don't see one in there, after searching with a flashlight for about ten minutes. Kinda odd.

Sorry my boo boo. I unplugged the car and reversed direction on driveway to vacuum the trunk. After that I mindlessly tried to access the door on the same spot where I unplugged the charger. Obviously I wasn't paying attention that the port is now on the other side.
Hope this amuses someone out there. It certainly amused my wife to no end (because I complain everytime she forgets to plug in the charger).
I went out again and successfully plugged in the charger this time.

Is is so easy to gert confused
WOW different cars have a little arrow on the gas gauge to show which side the fuel door is on. I guess it is easy to get confused when you have two doors : one for gas and one for plug-in. Maybe "voice reminder each time a PHEV user exits " Remember driver: fuel left, plug-in right"
