Lexus NX Overtrail and more improvements coming
#2
It’s not clear if these changes like the extra lighting in rear door handles, refined ride, quieter interior, reduced engine sound, quad headlights etc…are these exclusive to the Overtrail model NX or will these also be available for the regular lineup (350 F Sport etc..)
In addition, it’s not clear if this is for Japan only or is this for US and Canada?
Lastly, not impressed that they didn’t offer trim match around shifter. Glossy black trim remains. Thumbs down!!
Also for this price point, the passenger dash area should include some trim piece or added color coded stitching to give it more premium luxury feel.

I hope the black door handles do NOT make its way across the entire NX model line up.
It seems like Lexus has been listening to the car reviews on YouTube and forums about the engine sound/whine into the cabin. I wonder how they will insulate the interior even more? They already added acoustic glass. Maybe more sound deadening material underneath chassis? Maybe they are bringing back the ability to control the ASC with slider button on and off.

I’ll be watching to see what all appears for the US 2025 NX. I highly doubt it’s fall of this year for US, especially with Japan already issuing new updates. Sounding more like March/April announcement.
Ive also been watching local inventory at several Lexus dealers and for the past month or more there has been low inventory, in fact there has not been a 350 F sport loaded for a while. This could be an indication they have already changed over to 2025.

The ONLY improvements of interest to me are to increase structural rigidity and steering response..
The most likely improvements are what already exist in the Rav4 XSE.... firmer shocks/struts, chassis braces and perhaps more rigid sway bars....ALL items which can be added to the existing model.....BUT are not available that I know of from aftermarket sources.... and I have not looked at parts #s for the NX350 F model
