2024 NX 350h
#2
2022 NX350h owned for two years.
Pros
41mpg average city/highway
Zero mechanical issues
Quiet and comfortable ride.
Easier to maneuver when compared to my previous RX.
Cons
Lexus SUV's in particular in my area are frequently stolen.
Parking brake actuators make a weird sick cat sound when applied. While considered normal but not a pleasant sound.
Run flat tires while ride is acceptable is not everyone's first choice of tires.

Consumer Reports best luxury small SUV. Consumer Reports and J D Power Lexus #1 in reliability. Lexus lowest in maintenance cost except Tesla. Wife and friend have 2023 NX 350h's. One 12 months and the other 15 months old and both zero problems. Both love theirs. 40 mpg overall which is crazy for a SUV.

If you are thinking to keep your vehicle for 20 years and sell it then with still good value, if you are looking for reliability and some luxury, then Lexus is your best choice and you do not need to look or think any further. Those are your PROs i guess lol. CONs are it will cost you a big bucks out of the door, but in the long run you will not regret your choice as nothing will break in the long run hopefully

Pros;
- exceptional fuel consumption/economy
- plenty of power for acceleration
- comfortable & plenty spacious for us (family of 2). Easier to park than the previous generation RX we had
- great tech, once you get used to it
- All above listed reasons to own a Lexus, this is our 4th
- RFTs are a bit loud on less than ideal road surfaces and at highway speeds. I run regular Michelin winter tires on rims for the winter. Some anxiety associated with no spare, but live/drive in metro areas so chances of stranding are minimal/acceptable to me.
- engine is noisy on hard acceleration
- anxiety holdover from theft of previous RX experience. Use a steering wheel lock in sketchy areas. Anecdotally, I haven't heard that this new generation is as frequently stolen as previous generations.
- Friends have problems learning how to open the doors from the inside! Guess I need smarter friends

I came from a gas guzzling mustang V8 to the reliable Lexus world. Did a quite a bit of research before making my mind to fixate on NX 350h. One of the prominent reasons was the fuel economy and the ultra efficiency of the car/SUV. 👌👌. You might have come across my post about the hypermiling but the fuel economy is on the money on consistent basis. But the point you made is so true. I still can’t have my mother in law to figure out how to open the door lol.

One of the important reveals by Consumer Reports is 'Owner Satisfaction.' So in addition to all the other high marks given to almost all aspects of the NX350h, 'Owner Satisfaction' says a lot to me and would be a useful marker if considering a car purchase.

Did you keep yours run flat tires?
What rims you have?
Thanks
After a year I sold the run flats for $400 with 15K on them. Replaced them with Michelin CrossClimate2 tires with the original 18" rims. I didn't sell the run flats because of the ride or noise as that was acceptable but for better winter traction. But it turns out winter was cancelled this year in Southern Ontario so the joke is on me. At least the Michelins handled this winter's rain quite well.

Thanks for the Pros and Cons so far. I’m considering selling my ‘19 Highlander Limited that I love and going with the NXh Premium. I know I’ll enjoy the 10-15 mpg increase and added features but wonder what the loss of 36 cubic ft of cargo space will have on long trips. Ride quality and cabin noise comparison are also a concern…

At this point in time I’m at 40% for and 60% against purchased a 2024 Nx 350 h in October 2023 I’ll start with the pros nice ride , quiet , responsive, classy and now the cons started pretty much from day 1 apple CarPlay not functioning properly same as the Bluetooth trunk would not lock when initiated sometimes yes sometimes no 2 weeks in got locked out of my nx called roadside assistance boosted brought to dealer diagnosed faulty battery (2 weeks old) been at the dealer more times than I wish to count the worst of it all is my blind side monitor in drivers side from day one light up when no vehicles are near me diagnosed it said nothing was wrong had it calibrated still nothing oh almost forgot the side mirror was distorted they changed that. The BSM still not working was able to take vide of it while driving brought the vehicle back again showed them the video (dealer) l’agave them the keys told them I don’t want the car back until it’s 100% fixed been there for over a week still no word benn given a courtesy vehicle every time and no issues with any of them getting really fed up
