CarPlay doesn’t work in one place, have to restart head unit
Hi everyone,
everyday when I pull up to Starbucks and head back to my car, the CarPlay refuses to work until the head unit is restarted. It only happens at this place. I’m assuming it’s some sort of WiFi signal interference but any idea how this can be fixed?
Thanks

Not sure if CarPlay acts differently when it disconnects, but on the rare occasion Android Auto disconnects, no need to reboot the HU, just go into the settings on the screen and re-enable AA and it connects almost immediately.

even when I drive away, it refuses to reconnect until I restart the head unit. Even if I restart the phone, it doesn’t reconnect, it requires a head unit restart.

yeah, I did try turning off Apple CarPlay and turning it back on and hitting reconnect and reconnecting to the Bluetooth using my phone as well. The only thing that works after I park is restarting the whole head unit. This only happens in one place which I’m assuming is a WiFi interference issue

yep, not connected to Starbucks WiFi. I did notice a trend. If I leave the car for five or 10 minutes while I’m inside, sometimes it reconnects automatically.
