Hi Guys,

I just took delivery on NX350h Ultra Luxury trim in GTA area. It comes with one keyfob and one credit card key. Dealer told me they will inform me when the second key fob is ready for pickup, and as for the credit card key, it will only be one. Just wanted to check if the dealer was telling the truth about getting only one credit card key.

Two fobs (eventually) and 1 card key is standard for your trim (all trims are entitled to two fobs, but only some trims get the card key). I received my 2nd fob just a few days shy of 1 yr ownership, but it was available to me several months before, I just couldn't be bothered to go get it programmed because the credit card key worked just as well and I didn't really need 3 keys. When I traded my RX in, I dug out the old credit card key I got with that, had been lying in a box for years untouched.

Yeah that is the theme now days, you should have got 1 key fob with mechanical key inside, and also just 1 spare mechanical key for the fob that you eventually will get in 3-4 month or sooner, as well as 1 credit card key. So you have 3 keys + if you want you can get a digital key on your phone, making it 4 keys total lol what are you going to do with all those keys

However, I am not gonna get the digital key on my phone, skeptical about its security vulnerability.

If you don't feel good about it, don't do it, you're not missing anything. I only use mine when I need to get something left in the car or move it in the driveway to save myself the effort of going back into the house to grab my keys. My main concern is not any vulnerability (indeed it would only be as secure as your phone is) but rather its reliability. Some have had good experiences and others terrible. Mine have been mostly good, but in the year I've had it, I've had a few instances where its been fussy and needed me to take extra time and steps to get it to work. The fobs simply work (and work simply) all the time even when the battery is dead in them, so yea, never going to leave home without a physical key.

Yes, I too purchased an NX350 Luxury and same thing. One (1) credit card key, one (1) key with fob, and one (1) key without fob and they will email to let me know when it arrives at the dealer.

Good to know. I can put away the 2nd manual key then - I thought it was part of the 1st FOB... and was wondering how come it was not integrated...

My digital key failed to download to start with... I will try next week again.
