Default New to NX450+ issue

Hi everyone.
After 2 yrs wait, I finally got my 2024 NX450+ from Lexus of Richmond Hill. Its Ultra Premium came with 14" display.
I moved from 2016 RX350 FSport 2, I have always driven v6 engines. I am finding NX450+ fun to drive and very nimble compared previous Lexus, enjoying it so far. Also getting use to EV/HV modes.

My issue is the Lexus was not able to connect my iPhone Lexus App so I can't experience Lexus interface with Safety/Remote Apps, all the options are greyed out. At first I thought I could fix it myself using this forum, now I give up. Sent an email to Lexus to help me, hope it's fixable quick.

It should not be very complicated, maybe they do not know what they are doing at the dealer lol, just create the account with Lexus, create the pin, then should be as easy as logging into your Lexus app account and then follow the prompts on your phone and/or vehicle There are some youtube videos that walk you through how they are setting it up.

Wow, 2 years. Congratulations.

After downloading the Lexus app, register account, I remember you need to pull up a QR code from the car's touch screen and use the Lexus app on your phone to link the car to your lexus app. Should be pretty straight forward.

You should go back to Lexus of Richmond Hill and get their tech specialist to help you get it working. Make sure when you leave it's working.

Glad you got your car but you lost me when you said "nimble" // Again good luck. Connection issues exist especially if you have others on your profile or other Lexus or Toyota vehicles. Sometimes you have to delete and completely start over. In your case, I would go to you Lexus dealer and have them set it up for you the first time.

P.s. - I have owed and drive many sort cars and most of them were nimble and sporty. Lexus is luxurious but it will never be nimble ...well er maybe LFA was.

The Tech Specialist worked on it for while but figured it was Lexus issue and he would open a ticket with them. I guess I should him some time.

I find NX is quick and light in driving around compared to my RX350.

Did you have the issue with Lexus App resolve ? I have same problem on my 2024 NX450H+. Took delivery March 15.

Dealer couldn't get the app running. Everything greyed out at the Accept or Decline screens for the service connect trials. Dealer submitted a service call to Lexus. Have been on the phone with Lexus many times last week, but could get anywhere. Dropped off the car at the dealer this morning, and they want to keep the car 2 to 3 days to try to fix this problem. I don't know why they would need 2 or 3 days to fix this.

Are you using Iphone ? I had problem with Greyed out screen on the iphone. I also tried on an android phone, I was able to get passed the greyed out screen, but got the message that we've waived the agreement and can not use the app.

Yes, same issue with iPhone 14 (see the below picture), don't think its phone connect issue.. I took delivery Mar 19th, in Toronto.
I also reset my infosystem and started again. For now my dealer has opened a ticket with Lexus and waiting for the response. Could be the software version?
Will update here if I get any info.

Talking Jack ne nimble, Jack be quick am NX can't jump over a candlestick!

I guess it is what you compare it too, The Lexus NX 350h is a nimble, fast, high performance sports car compared to the deuce and a half I drove in the Army.

Hope you have better luck with Lexus support. I am in Edmonton. My dealer also opened a ticket last week. We got a courtesy call saying they will get back to us within 5 business day. 5 days later, i got a voice mail saying everything should be working now and I should try the app again. Tried and had same problem. Voice mail also said to call 1 800 255-3987 if we need help. Calling their 1800 number was a joke. got bounce around from XM Radio rep to a Subaru Rep. Manage to talk to 3 different people, but all didn't know why this is happening.

Hi @patrickt888 My Lexus App is working now, at least I can power on/off the SUV. Will test more later. Please try your App!

That's good to hear. How did you get pass the greyed out screen ? Are you able to use the built in NAV in the car ? Just talked to the service department, and they don't have a fix yet. Seems like this issue is with the Japanese built NX
