Tow hitch blocks kick sensor

Tow hitch blocks kick sensor
Im hoping the sensor can be moved, or Ive thought about drilling a hole in the tow hitch so it can sense my foot moving across the sensor.
What a stupid design by Lexus to put that f'ing sensor in the center of the back bumper so any tow hitch blocks it. Does anyone know how to move the sensor a little to the left? IT doesnt look easy to me.

In my case, I installed the hitch assembly myself in my garage; I didn’t even need to lift the vehicle because the clearance was sufficient door installation.
I just had a tow hitch installed by U-Haul and yes, it blocks the kick or hands free rear door sensor on my Nx-450H. My dealer should have warned me, but my dealer is a horrible (Lexus of Towson) since I wanted them to install the hitch, but they wouldnt do it. They know it blocks the sensor, but didnt say anything instead said, get it installed by a outside vendor.

There are multiple articles here on hitch installations. It is my understanding that if you have the Lexus OEM hitch installed you can order an alternate sensor that will work with the factory hitch. You may want ti search through all the hitch threads to locate the part number someone provided for that sensor.
