Agree on the dash, for a luxury car it needs a much much better dash material. Stitched leather like.
Headrest on the F-Sport seats can be adjusted forward and backward already.
A few other things I want to see:
Acoustic windows all around, not just front driver and passenger windows (these are great on the front, but i can always hear the noise coming through the back windows, do them all)
Rear wiper hidden at the top - top down (hide it at the top, will look much cleaner and nicer)
No piano black (terrible reflections, terrible dust magnet, scratches easily, etc.)
Generally more durable interior (it damages extremely easy, for a premium car it should be much more robust)
More responsive buttons on the steering wheel (have to rest my finger on them to make them work)
Physical airconditioning controls (not everything needs to be in the touch screen)
More reach on the steering wheel (I'm tall, I want the steering wheel closer but it doesnt come out any further)
Better storage bins under the rear (I've got all the spots for a jack, etc, yet they didnt give me those, that's dumb)
More noise insulation and/or refinement to the petrol engine (it can be quite noisy and chattery)
More PHEV battery range/larger battery (it's already great, but more is always better)
Better windscreen wiper sweep (to the edge of the windscreen)
Stronger hot air flow to the feet (my feet get cold on cold mornings)
An EV option with at least an 85kwh battery pack. Not a fan of the RZ450e... give us a NX500e with decent power, battery, efficiency and range.

- We have a dog and I don't know anyway to leave him in the car with the engine on and AC on and I can lock the doors and leave him in there safely. I could shut off car with AC on, exit, lock doors, then use remote start to start it back up but I believe it will only run for 10 minutes then shut back off.

Had that on a manual shift 1997 Gold two tone ES300 and it went out; quit working. Could still drive in the day time; night couldn't tell speed watch and went along with other cars. The color was awesome it always looked washed and clean.

Go back to mpg from fill up from reset and current trip like our 2017 had. Replace black piano center console with same options as the RX. Could not add $400 to price and would make a huge difference than the NX would be close to perfection. Oh and adjust trunk space to accommodate a small spare.

The few changes that I like to see are:
- No piano black plastic anywhere inside or outside
- Hide rear windshield whipper under the spoiler on top.
- Add a shortcut to put a car in automatic car wash mode, one on/off button that with enable/disable everything necessary to go through automatic car wash
- Regular tires and a spare tire and all the tools would be nice, but it is a big ask and a big waste of money for them ($1000+ per vehicle)

I love my NX 450, but was hoping to see more changes on the 2025 model. Was wondering what you would like to see improved in the future. I’ll start:
1) 12 volt capacity - goes without saying
2) Walkway timer autolock. Seems weird it’s not standard.
3) Add a sound to door locks so you don’t have to look at the light to confirm you locked it. During the daylight hours, it can be hard to quickly spot the light.
What do you want to see added?

And you don’t need the console top to open up to the left or right (drivers side and passenger side), just have it open to the front. Easy for both driver and passenger to open.

1. Fresh Air button Push this button blows out Fresh Air from outside with no temperature modification, to all of all the vents selected and the fan speed selected. Turns off Auto Maybe even with a special name for nostalgia "Wing Vent"
2. Driver Temperature Override Button. Push this button at e.g, 72 F and 72. degrees blow out of all the vents selected and the fan speed selected. Turns off Auto

I hope that Lexus is actively capturing and acknowledging the valuable feedback provided by owners in this thread. It's particularly valuable because it's freely given, honest, and addresses important aspects of personal experience getting better. However realistically, it's uncertain whether they'll actually heed this feedback. Nevertheless, it's essential for them to recognize the significance of these candid insights.

12 in MID, Standard LED signal on the front, I get you can upgrade to triple beam to get that but it’s only on luxury, f sport package or 450h+, but the fact it’s a Lexus and has incandescent turn signals is embarrassing.

NX 350h - I'd like it to drive simpler, i.e. no extra eco/sport modes, D/S modes, trail modes, etc. I know what I want when I press the gas pedal. And ramp the brakes from regen to hydraulic, I'm tired of jerking into hydraulic all the time.
As listed above, better mpg displays and door handles and spare tire capability.
Second driver electronic capability.

Unfortunately the electronic door handles are here to stay…Lexus would literally have to change it on all their models and that’s not going to happen. So it’s probably here to stay for at least 10-15 yrs.
I’m just glad they are not going to those flat door handles like what all new BMW’s are going to. I hate those things when they get wet they slip off your fingers and hurt like a *****.
