picked up 2025 NX350h earlier today and put some quality time driving and configuring. I am hoping this one will be as reliable as all of the past Lexus vehicles we have owned. few things I don't like is the coarse engine noise during acceleration and no "one touch" to turn off the screen as the 14 inch screen will light up the interior at night. rides very nice/smooth and decently quiet in cruising speed even with the run flat. hope to put OEM tow hitch, crossbar, and wind reflector very soon after getting the front window 50% tint. Keep the discussion going as I have learned a lot before committing to the NX instead of GLC or GV70.

Great color combo. In my experience there is no absolutely “PERFECT” car. But you can get close. I hope you find that with your NX350h.

waited couple of years for market to restore normalcy and inventories to improve but still hard to find the exact vehicle. this was the only vehicle in stock at Pohanka when someone backed out on the same day. considering the hybrid model had markups even few months ago, I was happy to grab the vehicle with $1300 discount with all weather mat included. Rioja interior would have been my top choice but Palomino looks good and hope NuLuxe will hold up better than the real leather. my wife is averaging 55mpg in Niro Touring so I am hoping she will average 40+ in NX.

What surprised me most so far on the newly leased 2025 NX350 was what I thought was erratic auto downshifting when coasting towards a stop. Finally figured out it wasn't the transmission downshifting, the car was braking. Found the Proactive Driving Assist and turned that OFF. It uses the radar and camera to anticipate the need to slow down and automatically brakes. And, I agree, the twin turbo 4 is noisy when accelerating in 1st gear.

I know what you mean about the engine noise, almost like a RAV-4. I drive a '19 RX and it drive me crazy when I have to drive the wife's NX, We recently had a loaner RX with the turbo 4-cyl in it and while it wasn't as loud as the NX they've still pretty much ruined the car with the buzzy little 4-cyl.. If you haven't yet, go to YouTube and look up the Lexus NX Deep Dive videos.

Unfortunately, this is a slight downside of the NX hybrid experience but this is due to the combination of A25A engine & E-CVT transmission. On the bright side, this is known to be highly efficient and bulletproof. I’ve discussed in detail about the noise previously. See this link.

We just switched from 2024 350 ICE..... to a 350h... I thought the 350 transmission shift was loud/annoying. 350h quiet/smoother

Just in case you are not aware, you can put the screen into either "automatic" or "night" mode to have the screen brightness a lot lower at night.

Not sure if this was just a typo, but just for clarity, the T24-FTS 4-banger used in the NX350 and RX350 (and now a whole bunch of other models) is actually a single "twin scroll" turbo (this just basically means the 4 exhaust ports enter the single turbo via 2 separate ports, to help prevent the 4 exhaust pulses from interfering with each other as they try to enter the turbo). The new V35-FTS V6 engine (yea, the one with the huge recall on the Tundras and LX for failing to clean out machining debris during manufacture) is an actual twin turbo engine.

That reminds me of when we took delivery of our '22 NX. The sales guy, who was barely competent to tell us about all the tech capabilities and wasn't able to get our phone connected with Bluetooth, was gushing about all the crap that could be done via the touch screen. I really threw him for a loop when I interrupted him and asked, "Hey Tom, how do you turn the damned screen off?"
