According to global Lexus news, the 2025 model's suspension was improved. Has anyone been able to test this year's model compared to previous years? I had a 2022 model, and I found the 20-inch rims and suspension gave a harsh ride over bad roads.

I have a 2024 NX 350h and it's still smoother than our 2024 Toyota Rav4 also.

New vehicle claims... they are always new and improved...better than ever. Most likely built cheaper but smoke needs to be blown. Price goes up..some stock options get reversed (20's to 18's) and the claims get exaggerated. Just my worthless .02.

When shopping for a vehicle for my daughter, we testdrove a 2024 RAV4, a 2024 NX450h+ and a 2025 NX450h+.
We couldn't tell the difference between the 2024 and the 2025 NX450h+.
The RAV4 was not even close.
We ended up with the 2025 NX450h+, mainly because my daughter preferred its interior color to that of the 2024.
At about 1500 miles, she replaced the run-flat stock tires with Michelin Cross-Climate 2. According to her (I'm not driving the vehicle), the road noise doesn't change that much, but the improvement in the smoothness is like 'night and day'.

It doesn't take much change to be able to say something was improved. The real question was the change even noticeable.

Yeah, the Lexus press release said the change was to reduce the side to side head bobbing. Softer sway bars? Softer struts? Don't remember the details, sorry.

See this post specifically : https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...l#post11691561
But there were two threads back in May 20204 about 2025 NXs and features you might want to read: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...-upgrades.html and https://www.clublexus.com/forums/nx-...5-nx-450h.html
A word of caution though: While handling improvements are mentioned, they are not qualified or validated is the articles or any subsequent articles I have seen. It is more likely than not just marketing hype. However, if handling and quietness are a concern the NX on 20 inch wheels ( mine is a 2022 NX 350h luxury with all options except rear folding power seat) , mine 2022 rides pretty smooth on the OEM RFTs; the subsequent years can only be better
. I plan to soon replace the RFTs with regular tires which will be quieter, more comfortable ride, better mpg (less tires weight) and longer tread life.
Since dealers now have NXs in stock , go out and test drive the particular flavor of NX you like and include some rough roads in your test drive.
Good Luck.
YMMV,

This is from Lexus global site for 2025 improvements plus the new Overtrail package we won't be getting here in North America.
https://global.toyota/jp/newsroom/lexus/40467779.html
I don't believe there has been any definite confirmation but it would seem very likely that the structural changes would apply to the vehicles made for North America too:
I would pony up for a 2025.

I don't believe there has been any definite confirmation but it would seem very likely that the structural changes would apply to the vehicles made for North America too:
"Further enhancing driving performance based on Always On
- In order to improve the directness of steering and realize "driving exactly as you want," braces have been added to suppress deformation of the rear body and improve body rigidity. In addition, the suspension tuning has been refined through extensive driving, achieving a high level of ride comfort.
- In pursuit of a pleasant driving experience that makes the driver feel one with the car, as well as smooth starts and linear vehicle speed control in response to accelerator operation, improvements have been made to the driving control (NX450h+, NX350h, NX350) and the front/rear torque distribution at the start of a drive has been revised (NX350).
- The NV specifications for the body and engine suspension systems have been revised to improve cabin quietness."
I would pony up for a 2025.

Been monitoring this forum and the Reddit threads. Do you mind sharing if you paid over or under MSRP for the 2025 NX450h+? Is it the F-Sport or the Lux. I've read and watched reviews of the RAV4 Prime and although they give the SUV high marks on value it's noise and ride quality are poor.
Edited to add: I forgot, the $9000 did not include $1000 college grad discount.
We considered a RAV4 Prime to save some money. But after testdriving a RAV4 Prime and an NX450h+ back to back, we decided that the extra cost was well justified.
Here's the story:
