Default 2 questions: Speed limit warning and EV ratio

  1. On my 2025 NX350h the HUD display speed limit turns red at exactly the speed limit. Is there a way to be say over 4MPH before the red warning? I can not find this in settings.
  2. I get a 'EV ratio' after turning off the NX350h. What is this, and what is a "good" rating??
    Many thanks.

Welcome aboard and can I add to your questions.... I stay in NORMAL full time. When/why is EV used? Thanks. 2025 350h Lux

For question #2, I believe this shows percentage of your most recent drive using EV. It doesn't care whether you drive in Eco, Normal, or Sport. It also doesn't ascribe whether your percent is good by any standard--just lets you know how your drive went. Some people like to increase the EV usage. Some others who buy a hybrid might not. It also shows your MPG on your last drive, as well as distance driven. It's simply information provided to the driver after each trip--IF I am correct about the screen you're citing.

for your question #1 look through your settings again thoroughly , there is a way to change that somewhere, if it is not in settings then it is through the OBDII scan tool, because I remember changing mine to warn after 5 mph over the limit, I just do not remember how I did that.

I just looked through the manual and there is indeed the setting for changing that.

#1 —easy. Scroll thru Lexus settings in the car and you’ll see it. I have my set for three or 4 miles over the speed limit, I don’t remember which

The answer to number one has been posted below. I’d recommend that you, and everybody else, go through every single setting so that you can be aware of what’s there.

Many thanks for the responses. I actually scrolled carefully through notifications, and this was not there (perhaps I needed to be ON rather than ACC). In any case when I used voice command to show me Driver Assist, then the submenu was there. So we're good.
I am grateful for the help.

Yes, I’m pretty sure the car needs to be on!

A word of warning, don't use ACC mode at all. You'll drain your battery without warning. I've done it several times and learned my lesson. You have a hybrid, just leave it in READY mode, it'll cycle the engine on and off as necessary and you'll avoid killing the battery!
