18 Costly Extras Car Dealerships Push That Are a Complete Waste of Money (msn.com)

Most Lexus people fall for 3/25 .... Remember it makes the dealerships a ton of money

Save your money, invest in gold or become a Credited Investor.

Good Luck

YMMV,

My RX purchase in March the Business Manager showed me over $6,000 worth of extras. Of course passed on all. They must have a note in my records that I don't buy any of these because they always say" I know you aren't going to get any of these but have to show you anyway".

Thought my Lexus dealer might be a little more professional and trustworthy than the average dealer - but NO! They appear to be as slimy as any of them.

My Lexus dealer was just as sleazy pushing the add-on's with me also. Imagine a pricy additional clear paint protection coating on an already exceptional paint job.
You should have seen the excellent color, shine and condition of the OEM paint on my 7 year old 95,000 mile trade in.
Trying to sell us totally unnecessary add-on features - they should be ashamed - it's best to go with "buyer be ware"

If you are old enough, do you remember when all car dealers pushed "Undercoating"

Rust inhibitor and sound proofing all in one. What more could you ask for!
