Wireless Android auto, panoramic roof, HUD, phone digital start, great storage compartments under the trunk floor, ambient lighting finally. Get in line behind me.

they’re claiming 6.8 secs to 60 for the new NX350 model, idk if it’s just me but that sounds a little underwhelming considering how much more torque it has. otherwise i absolutely love the design and interior i think they nailed it! just hoping for an f sport performance version maybe with the ttv6🤤but we can only dream right

The premier was a big letdown (not the product) I mean a 2 min video and not a single USA rep, they could have at least had a rep speak after the video. I don’t really understand their marketing. After the way it was presented last night, the leaked videos hours before provided more details than the official premier. Strange.

Great clip of the interior color options. Not crazy about any of the. Like light color interiors and Lexus leaves us with one option palomino.

Why am I seeing some with the black cladding around the wheel wells and others like the blue sonic don’t have that which model doesn’t have the black cladding?

F-Sport trims lose the black cladding and get body-coloured fenders. I'm not necessarily a fan of the plastic cladding but it also looks odd without it.

And it looks like the black cladding is noticeably thinner, more like the RX. That looks much better, and more premium, IMHO.

Did anyone notice on the leaked video of the blue nx450h on the new nav screen when they were showing how to change then ambient lighting if you look on the far left there’s a tab of options and one said Door Control. I’m concerned if this car will have electronic door opening and closing. Is this good or bad?

The front of the current regular nx300 made it easy for me to choose the f-sport. With 350 versions, it’s going to make the decision harder because both look nice. From what I could make of the videos, I think you can easily swap the main grille of a regular 350 with an f-sport should you choose. It will come down to features you need or can live without.

I have to say, I'm pretty happy with what I've seen. The electronic doors are silly and unnecessary, but aside from that everything else looks good. My biggest concern was around engine power, but the NX350's 275HP seems more than adequate. Assuming the sticker price doesn't go into the stratosphere, I'll be buying later this year.

This morning, I came across this article.
https://carbuzz.com/news/getting-a-l...d-wont-be-easy
For those who are interested in buying a 2nd generation NX soon after they are released, especially those who will want to buy the NX plug-in hybrid, there is some good information.
With the RAV4 plug-in hybrid, finding one to buy had been next to impossible. In most of the country, potential buyers were getting on wait lists and having to pay as much as $10,000 over MSRP, which means paying close to $60,000 for a fully loaded RAV4 plug-in hybrid.
It appears that a similar situation is likely to happen with the new NX plug-in hybrid. That would mean, with paying $10,000 over MSRP, paying around $70,000 for a fully-loaded NX plug-in hybrid and still having to wait a while after they are theoretically available to be able to get one.

The wasted space in the nose is absurd I really wish Lexus would stop doing this crap. Look at the safety hood latch it has to be 10 inches long.
