I would say take that estimate with a pinch of salt. Very very very few people have gotten their NX in 2 months. It's usually more like 6 months.
I hope you don't have to wait that long but do know that it may take longer than 2 months for you to receive it.
This depends on how he ordered it. If the car was already allocated to the dealership then two months is very doable. I received my NX 350h in less than a month. I chose an NX that was allocated to dealer around Oct. 3, it was built on Oct. 13, and got to the dealership Oct. 21. I picked it up on Oct. 24. Now, if he went to the dealership and said I'd like this model of NX in this color with these options, then it would take far longer than two months.

I hope that's the case haha, I originally ordered the base NX350h after being told all 2023 NX models will get the 14 inch screen. The base trim was already allocated to the dealer and was supposed to come by the end of this month. After doing a little more research of my own, I found out that you only get the 14 inch screen if you get at least the Luxury package in Canada. I called up my dealership and asked to upgrade my order and add the luxury package. I expected to be told that I have to wait until April/May but to my surprise, I was told end of December and that it could even be sooner than that

Very true. We're saying the same thing. It's not impossible to get it in two months, but in the current market, especially in Canada which he is in like I am, is more the exception than the norm.

I hope you get it early bro. Upgrading to the luxury trim is definitely worth it. I ordered a luxury in January too but got downgraded to Ultra-Premium when they have the pano roof shortage. Do I miss the pano roof? Can't say since I never had it. But that 14 inch screen? I am so glad I have that and not the 9 inch. You feel it doesn't make a difference till you don't have it/you experience it. Everytime I drive my wife's 2011 Sienna, it always feels like I stepped back in time🤣
P.S. I am tottally convinced now that 350h with Marklevison Is the sbsolute best NX combo IMHO.

After an almost 10 month wait, I took delivery of my 350h Luxury today!! Hoo-ray!! I like it so far! I’ll need to read through the manual and watch the Northside tutorial again to familiarize myself with all this tech. Initial takeaways: I got two key fobs and the wireless charger worked on my iPhone 14 pro max 🤷🏾♀️
Picked up my wife’s new car in Lansing today: drove 240 mi from Indianapolis. She loves it! We are Toyota fanboys and are happy to have another one in the family. Paid MSRP with no add ons or unnecessary fees and got $500 more for the trade in than the local dealer.
