Traded my 21 GX for a 22NX F Sport. I tried every dealer with 500 miles and all had a wait of 3-4 months. Found a white with red leather in Indiana so drive 580 miles to grab it. So far, I really like it and don’t miss the GX. My other car is a 300h.

After 6 months and 3k miles, a sad bye-bye to the '21 Mag-Gray R4P XSE PP, but a happy Hello to '22 Nori Green NX 450h+ Lux!!!
(Still Working on comparison info to post later...initial impression on hour-plus SoCal freeway drive home from the dealer = NICE!!!!)
IMHO, with the PHEV hardware, the R4P rides much smoother than standard R4. The NX 450h+ takes it up another level: SMOOTH, QUIET, and COMFORTABLE! The resolution and speed on the infotainment screen is 'da bes! (same high res that is on the digital rearview mirror in the R4P, but now on the whole main screen.)
Continuing from my March 21st post on Lexus NX 450h+ vs Rav4 Prime XSE comparison:
To recap, after 6 months and 3k miles, I traded in my '21 R4P XSE PP on a 2022 Lexus NX 450h+. Both vehicles purchased at Longo Toyota and Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA. They gave me more on trade than I originally paid (crazy market) and I got the 450h+ at MSRP (Longo policy). Nori Green with Palomino interior.
I traded in the R4P mainly for these reasons (in no particular order):
Front seat bolsters more pronounced of an angle on the R4P - easier entrance on the NX 450h+.
Power front passenger seat fully adjustable on the NX. (although remedied as an option on the '22 R4P)
MUCH, MUCH BETTER infotainment/media/center-stack system (graphics, wireless Android & CarPlay)
MUCH BETTER Heads-up Display (HUD)
Quieter ride. The heavier Lexus-ifying of the TNGA platform adds to the weight and contributes to the lower EV/MPG numbers on the 450h+. Less road noise and internal noises: warning buzzers not as obnoxious as on R4P.
A REAL horn. (picky, picky, I know. But don't you feel embarrassed when you want to honk at someone in your R4P?)
In general, the NX 450h+ seems to smooth out all the "rough edges" that I discovered living with the R4P for 6 months and 3k miles)
So far, the safety sense items seem to be a little more "refined" than on the R4P. Responses from the lane control and adaptive cruise are a lot smoother.
Happy that the electronics can be updated OTA.
Wife much happier with the Lexus - color, ride, and overall "feel". (Happy wife, happy life.)
A few NX 450h+ observations:
No spare tire (don't really like run flats either, even though the ones on the NX 450h+ have seemed pretty OK. I'm concerned about the longevity and replacement value/non-value.)
Miss the hard buttons for the R4P infotainment/climate controls. (The NX are not too bad though and the capacitive ones it has function better than on other systems I've used. I just don't really like not having hard controls in most places - the R4P was awesome in this area.)
The power door handles are just "OK" - seem like an over-engineered solution looking for a problem that wasn't really a problem. But a quirk with which I can live.
Don't know why the 1200w 120V plug was left out of this car....nice to have it on my R4P XSE PP.
Bummed that the Pano roof and ML sound system are not available on the 450h+ (another WTH kinda thing)
I REALLY miss the R4P's storage shelf (over the glovebox and in front of the passenger.) Not having it in the 450h+ makes you appreciate it having been there on the Prime.
Neither the R4P or the NX have a darn "MUTE" button for the sound system.
Bummed that the EV range (37) and MPG (36) are a bit lower on the 450h+ than the R4P, but the numbers still work for the way we use the vehicle.
I guess to sum, living with the R4P convinced us that we really liked how the PHEV functionality fits into our lifestyle. Having owned five Toyota/Lexus/Scion brand vehicles over the past 25 years, we have totally bought into the Toyota/Lexus long-term value proposition and felt very comfortable relying on both company's PHEV/Hybrid experience. We seriously looked at a Kia Sorento SX Prestige PHEV and even though 1) the tech is amazing, 2) the car has a semi-useful third row, and 3) the car has an overall sense of roominess, we just couldn't get past the EV/Hybrid engine workings of the Kia, as well as the unknown long-term viability of the engine and drivetrain.
As always, YMMV. Mahalo!

Looking into picking up a NX250 - is everyone paying MSRP at this point or able to beat it?
@hypervish What are you hoping to buy? 350, 350h 450h+……?
I have a 350h ordered 4 Sept and delivered 31 Jan in the UK and I paid exact MRSP - there have been two price increases since then totalling £ 3000 so I count myself lucky. It was the first car I had ever bought in 40 years without getting a discount.

I don't think you'll have much trouble getting a 250 at MSRP. My dealer has one loaded at MSRP right now. Getting below MSRP, probably tough for an NX, or any new car for that matter.

Looking to buy a 250 specifically, may consider a 350 depending on how it's equipped and what price it's selling at. Sounds like I should expect to pay at MSRP.

Sorry, I didn’t even know there is a 250 NX. In the UK we only have a choice of 350h or 450h+. I did know that the US has a non-hybrid 350 available. Learn something new every day!
Place order for 2022 NX 250 AWD LUXURY PACKAGE, CADMIUN ORANGE/ BLACK LEATHER: rear bumper protect, all-weather cargo mat, digital mirror and mug guards.
They are now producing the NX 250 there and dose anyone think I have a better chance now? The Lexus Factory is less than 800 miles from North Caroline.
We got our 350 NX F Sport Friday after the Valero Open was complete. It was driven by one of the golfers. (400 miles) We were well compensated. I’m not a golf fan but it was this or wait for who knows how long .
