Ordered in December and they have always maintained “3-4 months” which was probably just a made up date, tbh

I recall reading in one of the threads here that it appears that Lexus is not filling any custom orders with the initial batch of cars that were built in Japan. A local dealer here in Southern California told me that none of the many custom orders they had placed had arrived. Hopefully the custom orders will start arriving soon now that the plant in Canada has started production.

My dealership (Richmond Hill) hasn’t even contacted me or mentioned anything about delays to my 350h … when I asked, they just say there’s a delay to pano roofs but don’t say anything else nor offered me to switch to an ultra premium. Not sure if I should be worried.
I keep feeling like I should have gone to Don Valley or Lexus on the Park instead. Ugh.

I emailed my guy and I said I heard there’s a delay on pano roofs? And he said no ETA yet but you can switch to non pano and save $650 if wait time is a concern and I said nah I’d rather wait. He hasn’t gotten back to me but atleast he also didn’t say the wait time is 9-12 months

I officially ordered model/colour around August.
Lexus Canada did not accept any orders for 450h+ until late December 2021. My car just arrived the dealership compound a few days ago. I will be picking it up sometime this week.

I put in a deposit in April 2021 before they even announced the new model.

They typically will ask you to pull ahead and swap your lease for a new one. It's a way for you to get a new car and they can sell your car as used and make money. All dealerships do that. MY = model year. I would say.. just the right time when they gave me a call. If not, I would have still called them right after they announce the car and put my deposit in.
