ordered a NX350h luxury package in cloudburst grey on weekend from Lexus on the Park.
got them to "discount" the admin fee and throw in trunk liner. I didn't bargain that hard but i'm okay if i left a few hundred on the table (probably could've gotten maybe a few hundred more if pushed for it as family buys cars from the sales/dealership)
Told to expect an april delivery as it will be a factory order. i have a trade in (2014 Mazda 3 GT) but they didn't bother appraising it and said they'll do it (along with deciding if i want to pay cash/finance/lease) a month before delivery date and should i not like the value, i can cancel the deal (and i believe them on that and get my 1k back as they won't have issue selling the car, or i can sell to clutch or something).
Does anyone know when Cambridge, Ontario will start producing the NX?
Was at the local dealer yesterday with my RX. Sat in a 350H. Pretty nice. Was sold so no test driving. Built in Japan as well.
Cambridge starts in March some time. Presume they are already building preproduction, getting the supply chain up and training up the staff now. Until then, all Japan assembly.
Ordered a NX350h from Lexus of Oakville. Got $500 off MSRP without asking and I requested them to remove the $250 nitrogen and vehicle etching add-on, which they did. In total got $750 off. Was told 3-4 month wait, and they put end of June as delivery date on the invoice.
Next day after I ordered my Lexus NX, my sales person send me screenshoot of Lexus Factory Order with my order number.
Does anyone knows if there is a way to check actual order status on Lexus website using that Factory order number? I looked online, but could not find.

That's the problem with Lexus Canada. There doesn't seem to be a self service way to check status. Always needs to go through the dealership for updates.
Today finally got a chance to test drive the NX Plugin. Experience is very good. Drive and isolation is much better than the 2018. Handles bumps much better... Can't wait for my car to arrive!!

That's interesting. I haven't heard anything. I placed my factory order mid Jan and they said 3 to 6 months but no updates since. At the time, Downtown Toronto Lexus told me they have 30+ allocations for the 450h+ for factory orders and that I was like No. 3 or 4 to place an order. I can't imagine that they already reached their allocation since the price is so high for the PHEV. You could try there.

Thanks for the insight. I was looking at just the base 450h+. I am thinking if I should just place the order and pray Toyota gets its **** together to deliver it this year.
I touched base with my sales (in Calgary) in early Jan, they told me they are not taking orders for the 450h+ anymore.
I had my order in last Oct, still no sign of it coming, I'm hoping I get one by the end of the year. (they say there's 1 coming in in March, but it won't be my turn yet)

I doubt it'll be 3-6mths when that's how long the regular 350 hybrid is. Plug in is like the RAV4 prime probably..so over one year or longer I'm guessing
The price is actually quite cheap for the plug in here to me ...it's 60k base but comparable to the 350h with luxury package in terms of features and the 350h with luxury is already 56k
I put my deposit around April last year before the announcement of the model. In August is when I picked the package and color. Originally a date in November, but then got delayed to March 2022.
My ETA is late March. I heard that my dealer has a long wait list already and still haven't been allocated. There is also a list for fallout allocations.

The base price is decent, but if you want to add something you are force to pick the only package and if you want the FSport there is only FSport 3 and no other levels.
