Default Regenerative Brake

Is there any additional setting for regenerative breaking in NX 450h+? I have tried both HV/EV and Auto mode, but didn't feel any regenerative breaking. Does NX 450h+ support single paddle driving?

The 450h always uses regenerative braking when slowing down except when it needs to use the physical brakes in cases of emergency or panic stop. If you have the energy flow displays on, you can see energy flowing from the wheels to the battery pack when lifting off the throttle or pressing on the brakes during normal driving. When lifting your foot off the gas but not pressing the brakes, the tuning of the regenerative brakes was meant to be mild and mimic that of a normal gas vehicle.

You can adjust the how rapidly the car slows down with its regenerative brakes by using the paddle shifters or putting the shifter into S mode (down and to the right). In the most aggressive settings the car slows down quite rapidly. I only tested it briefly but I do not remember if it comes to a complete stop. I believe it only slowed to a crawl but I could be wrong.

Yes, regenerative braking can crawl to a stop on the aggressive setting. You still need the regular brake to hold the car in place.
