I keep a compressor and kit(Safety Seal) in the cargo compartment. I have the Modern Spare full kit. Same here about having a spare on board. There is no substitute. It should be mandatory included during manufacture.

Good plan if higher power horse power and losing money is not a concern. However it's hard to go backwards... some buyers had no idea until they got home.
A golfer is told to wear 2 pair of pants when they golf....... in case they get a hole in one. Insurance is the word. Having the right equipment.

A spare is supposed to fit in the 350. It's the hybrid that won't fit.

Not in the 24’s. Our 350 will not accommodate a spare.

Which is more of a concern? The bigger engine in the 350. Which means the battery is in the trunk. Thus making no room for the spare

Or a smaller engine. With room for the spare in the back?

Probably should have gone with the RX

The battery of the 350 is under the hood. It's the 350H that has the battery in the back.

Bought the NX350 for a specific reason. I can manage as I bought the Modern Spare kit. The 350 could use more HP. Currently looking at a 350h but moved toward the 450h. HP matters. A lot of things matter... SOS. Spare & 2 fobs.

There are other components under the cargo mat. Our sales agent lifted the styrofoam inserts out and there is no room for a spare. None. I'll gladly post pictures later to verify. This applies the 2024 NX350. Maybe I got a misprint and it's a rare NX.

Read it before and replied. Regardless our 24 350 will not accommodate a spare without a shoe horn or compactor. I’ll post pictures later to confirm and end of story. Hopefully someone will simply confirm what I’m saying and the conversation ends.

EDIT: I have emergency items in the trays.. I do not feel like emptying them out... Believe it or not... the 2024 NX350Luxury has no space for a spare. Any doubts go an agency and compare notes. If anyone has a 2024 350lux take look and let us know. Maybe a different 350 lux will accommodate ...mine won't.

None of the 22,23 or 24 NX (all variants) do not have a spare, Lexus does not make a spare nor do they have space for a spare below the cargo area---------and that's a fact. Third party only and stored in the cargo area. Lexus "could" have configure the area below the cargo deck on the 350 non hybrids to accept a spare but chose not to. Lexus chose to screw everyone and yes the battery on the 350 non hybrids is under the hood.

NX 250 sold in the Canadian domestic market does in fact come with an OEM spare tire.


They are built on the exact same production line at the Cambridge, Ontario factory.
