A happy thought I thought I would share.

In the app for our car there is a card that says "REMOTE PARK. Coming Soon. Available in Spring 2022"

I'm not holding my breath, but this means Lexus is planning an OTA update in the coming months to add this feature to the car. While I don't really car about this feature, I am excited to get an update because they should be planning on addressing all these other issues we have been hitting.

Don't want to pour water on it but i think it might be available only to cars which had advanced park package.

Yes you are right, I should have mentioned that.

Regardless it is good to know that Lexus has some kind of planned OTA update. If we knew for example that issues would be fixed every few months I think people would be more willing to put up with these infotainment bugs.

BTW I have the advanced parking package. It works, but so far I haven’t found it worth the trouble. My 7 y/o Mercedes does self parking better.

Will it do parallel parking? My current X1 has it and it helped me a lot, parking in tight situations perfectly.

It does to parallel parking. I have only tried it out a few times. I’ll experiment more and report back.
