USA Lexus NX 250 comes with a spare tire that has the following size:
Tire: T165/90D18 107M
Wheel: 18 x 4T

So my understanding is if you will buy tire with these specs, this should fit Lexus NX.
But, I am not sure how this will work if your current tires are 20''.

Where would you store it? I don't think there is a space for a spare anywhere in any NX other than 250

I would use it mostly for long road trips. My previous car also had no storage for a spare and I usually kept it on the floor stood up behind the driver seat. Might keep it in the garage most of the time if I’m just driving around town.

I watched a video comparing the RAV4, Venza and NX.
RAV4 and Venza do not have run flats and do have spares.
I would think that the tray under the bottom cover might fit being a hybrid Toyota. There would also need to be an an anchor to hold the spare down otherwise it could go flying around the cabin in an accident.

no. The 250 only comes in a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder configuration.

for what it’s worth, in Canada there is even no additional packages or trims for it either. I honestly don’t know who it is aimed at, as the price is $2500 (CAD) away from a 350h.

What I meant about looking at the NX 250 was the spare tire and the storage area. Is it possible to at a later time, order these items and swap it out. I understand the battery in back might make it impossible. But it is worth a look.

Get AAA. Tires rarely have blowouts and flats; when was the last time you actually used your spare tire? Get AAA and get towed on those rare occasions. There is no room for a spare tire. No need for a jack or a pump with RFTs. However, when my sort lived RFTs wear out I will replace them with other, better riding, lighter weight ( i.e. better mpg) tires and use AAA if I have a flat or blowout

I was reading the owners manual and I noticed that you can get an emergency tire puncture kit.

Our NX does not have this. Did anyone get one with their NX?
