Seconded! They actually serve a purpose unlike mine. Mine just look nice.

Mine were just right there. I’d grab a flashlight and take a look. They should be just handling there. Try to take a pic with flash on your phone to see if you can see them (ultra wide lens if you have it)

Hey Doug, if you’re referring to the light that I installed it’s actually fairly cheap and you can get it all over EBay or Amazon or Aliexpress. I have used these exact same light for all of our previous and current RX350 as the design have not change for at least 12 yrs now or possibly longer. Just search for Lexus Courtesy light or Lexus puddle light and it should pop up. Try to get the ones that has these wire adapter so you can use it for the new harness. As one of the members mentioned in this thread you would need a wire adapter in order to use these lights to the new harness of the NX. I have attached a few more pictures of the wire adapter below for reference. Hope that helps and if you need anything else feel free to ask any questions!!

Same as above, when I pop mine off only one side was plugged into the blank and the other side was not. I had to search around for it but couldn’t find it then I realized it was jammed underneath behind the door panel.

@Doug, maybe look around the bottom of the door and see if there’s any wire that got jammed. It is possible that it could be hidden behind it because whoever assembled it was too lazy to install it in the first place!!

Saw these on a Japanese auction site. Don't understand Japanese but from what I can tell from the pictures, they look pretty bright and are not distorted and have minimum aberration. They do however light up in red around the projector unit itself, I'm guessing for warning purposes to the cars behind....not a big fan of the change in color.

Based on someone's recommendation bought these puddle lights. Received them today. Took two minutes to do both front doors. They look great. Bright and a very sharp image. Worlds better than cheaper ones I have bought on Amazon. Style A small plug https://www.addcarlights.com/product...hts-car-ghost/

All you need is a flat head screw driver or some interior trim tools to pry out the light and remove the connector then reinstall with the new one

Same as Danny mentioned above but it also depends on what type of light you install like if it has OEM plug harness or aftermarket. If it’s aftermarket then you will need an additional wires to plug into the OEM harness and into your aftermarket light to make it work. Please scroll through this thread for more info to help you with the installation. GL and let us know how it turns out!!

As posted by Freds430 I installed these. Make sure to select the "Small Plug" option. Very easy to do; you can reference
to get an idea.

Just ordered these. Anybody find something for teh trunk? Thought I read someplace that a brighter lamp up inside the lid would be beneficial as well.

Check my post under 350h puddle lights. I ordered the truck puddle lights. One LED to four. A huge difference and easy to install.
