My wireless charger will charge my iPhone 12 Pro with case for a short while, then it starts blinking orange which means it is not charging. So not reliable. Lexus should replace the qi charger with a better charger under warranty in my opinion

Im kind of in agreement, given it's bundled thing you get only with digital keys, and those don't really work very well either. $500 bucks for what again?

Goodness, sad to read that this is an issue for iPhone 13 with cases, as both my wife and I have this model phone. Sounds like it's the thickness/distance that's causing the issue? I was thinking about cutting a thin foam "frame" around the outside that would encourage the phone to stay in a certain sweetspot over the charging coil, but that probably wouldn't help much?

Anyone else found a good workaround/hack for charging your phone in the NX then? Or do you just revert to the wired connection?

after inconsistencies in charging with my pixel 6 with a case at first..haven't had any problems last couple of weeks and it charges basically all the time now except when i bump it off

seems issues are more with certain iphones cases..and not the charger

but just like with my BMW..i don't really use wireless charging..too slow (1% per min) and i don't like heat generated from wireless charging in general and prefer using the USB C to charge and i like wired AA more than wireless anyways too

FYI the USB C port doesn't transfer data. Only the USB A port can be used for CarPlay/AA

Can I use the USB C port to charge my iPhone 13 Pro while simultaneously using CarPlay wirelessly? It just pisses me off that a $400+ accessory doesn't support current technologies.

Yeah that's exactly what I do with my iPhone 13 pro for daily commuting. The charger works for the most part if I take my case off but then it slides around when turning . Definitely cuz of the camera bump since my wife's iPhone 12 works perfectly even with her case on

My Iphone 12 pro with a magsafe case charged flawlessly in in my 2016 RX 350 (wireless charger). Now with my 2022 NX, it will only charge for a minute and then blinks. Thus the issue is not the phone or the case, it is the charger in the NX. Under powered? I will put in a complaint at my first service, in the meantime I charge via the USB interface.

Wink This worked for me to get charger to work

I have an iPhone 13 and bought the thinnest case, Insignia from Best Buy, I could find. I carefully trimmed off the lip on the case surrounding the camera lens to about the same height as the lenses. Now the iPhone 13 charges like it should in my 2022 NX350.

I am excited that you were able to mutilate a case for a $1,000 phone so you can use an obviously inferior wireless charging product, but I will pass.

FYI, I did not mutilate the case. You don't have to get pissy about my post as it was only a suggestion. Apparently, looking at your other post, you have great anger that the QI charger is not working to your standards and regret purchasing it on your vehicle. Take a deep breath and relax, there is always a solution to a problem.
