Hello guys, new to Lexus and very happy I've found this forum. My pleasure to meet you all up here.
So I picked my NX250 3 weeks ago, right now it should be it's break in period. Wonder if anyone got experience of engine noise from a brand new? I've notice the noise when I accelerate harder when taking off, the engine sounds so much noisier but weak in torque(Sounds like lightly dadadada) (I compared the take off with a ten year old Scion tC that I also own and the tC is so smooth without the funny noise even I go like 3-4000 rpm). However when I take off gently on the NX250, the engine runs smooth and sounds normal(quiet). Any thoughts? Thanks so much.

You're probably hearing the typical noise from a 4 cyl turbo when you push it.

You might want to listen to this video starting around 14:30 mins for the engine noise of the 2.5L non-turbo engine of the 250H

Take a look at that Car Care Nut video posted earlier, it explains everything you need to know about the new family of 4 cylinder Toyota engines.
Toyota's (Lexus too) D4S system which has both direct injection and port injection in their newer designed gasoline engines is notoriously loud when 'pushed' like you state. Almost like a diesel engine. When you aren't heavy on the gas it quietens down as it switches back to port injection. This setup improves gas mileage from the direct injection action and the port injection has the added benefit to 'wash off' the carbon build up that is prevalent with a direct injection only system that many other manufacturers use.
Apparently Lexus has Automatic Sound Control built into the sound system to 'mask the noise' but there isn't any way to enable or disable it at all.

Yes that sounds normal. Glad you asked for advice here on the forum. First thing I always do when I here an engine making an odd rattling noise is shut it off and do a proper check of the oil dipstick to make sure you have oil. In this case of course you have oil, it's never had an oil change yet. But an engine that has almost no oil will make a rattling sound close to this, and if it is very low on oil, I mean nothing is showing on the dipstick, leave the engine off and address the low oil. If you're competent of yourself, put in some recommended weight oil until you see it showing up on dipstick before starting it again.
