@ctripps2k That is a sad, sad story, So I went with Jerry Renolds Car Pro dealer because I have had good luck with Car Pro's VIP service before. I started the process in November 2021. My representative said they could speed up the process by taking an allocated NX350h and modifying the exterior color to redline and the interior color to Palamino and it would be faster and only take 1 to 1 1/2 months. So I said okay because I basically wanted a loaded NX 350h with ML at minimum in Redline. So they made my deposit official and cashed it on January 12, 2022, I contacted my Lexus guy on February 1, 2022 and he basically said don't call me, I'll call you .....after almost 2 more months he hasn;t called. Earlier this week I contact my Car Pro contact and he said he would look into the problem.
By the way, I have 3 local Lexus dealers and the Car Pro dealer is by far the smallest. I contact one of the bigger Lexus dealers yesterday and they think they can get me one from their allocation. So I am basically almost starting over on getting a NX.... arg!!
However, good news maybe all software will be fixed, but like @lsft I worked many, many years in the software area so I fully understand the software/testing/release/update process when I finally get my NX. Who knows maybe I will get a 2023.

YMMV,
MidCow3
Hopefully your NX will get sorted out.
The updates may take time to her distributed to everybody. Looks like the US are getting the updates... Not sure when it will come to the Canadian market.
Our version does not have Amazon Music or Apple Music integration. And possibly some other features are different.

So far, it looks like we've only gotten the Service Bulletin, no one has yet said they've gotten the actual update...I've tried regularly via my home WiFi, even once leaving the car connected for a few hours as well as the website, but no luck. I'm hoping it rolls out to me soon, the clock reset has been particularly annoying recently.
I work in the software world. No software is perfect and there will always be fixes as everybody's use case are different. It can only get better over time.
Yup, all the testing internally or even with beta testers ..will still have errors/issues even after going into production server. We can only hope theres no big issue that causes catastrophic failure but you can only do so much testing internally before you have to make it live and roll it out to continue the process to quash bugs
Being first model in Lexus to basically revamp the entire infotainment, there's going to be teething issues but at least it's able to get OTA updates so hopefully no dealer visit required to update software like in past
Per my dealer today, update is not yet rolling out. They're not sure why it is being held, since the bulletin already got issued, and not current ETA. I suspect we'll hear on this forum first once someone gets it.
Maybe they're testing the rollout process, new process/system?
My update was available this morning once I had sufficient internet service. The download takes about 10 minutes to download and install. You have to restart your vehicle for the update to take place. My phone immediately connected without any issues.
Good luck to all! I believe any issues from this point forward may be very minor.

I'm used to cars just getting OTA and nothing required on my part and car is always connected (well Im in urban area so there's always service/coverage)
By sufficient internet service, do you mean like your car had cell reception (for the connected services ) or you had to connect it to wifi or something?
Lexus's mobile app update is available, and we can see the status of software update on the APP. Unfortunately, I haven't received my 2022 NX software update yet. Hopefully, that time will come soon.

My car is in a parking garage that doesn't receive cell service. I checked the software update when I arrived at work and I had an update available.
I heard back from my dealer that they're deploying it randomly to cars, no idea how quickly. Still haven't gotten mine. The app update is nice to see, although I've got the Android version and they haven't updated it yet.
