Thanks!...
Edit:
Just got the update at the end of today. I checked Update and it showed "no update available", then 2 minutes later I got the "An update is available" message and downloaded it.
It looks like the last over the air firmware update for the NX has been over a year ago. Given all the little "bugs" people seem to have with it, you would think they would send out updates every quarter. Anyone have any news when the next update is coming out?

lol join the club. I would love to see any update. Even if it doesn’t actually update anything it would be nice to see that Lexus hasn’t forgotten about us. I’m expecting to see something close to the fourth quarter of this year, probably when they start switching over to production for the the 2024 models. But once this new Toyota Audio Multimedia system becomes standard across more models, I think they’ll really start focusing on solely making this system the best it can be. With maybe an updated processor or two and some UI tweaks, it has the capability to last well into the next decade.
Backtracking on the most recent posts in April, looks like there's an update, will give it a try today! Didn't see the exact software version posted but will dig back. Still can't find the official changelogs from Lexus.com as a registered user with the VIN of the vehicle which is odd.

You mean you found a current update through the infotainment system? That’s weird, I’m not seeing anything about it anywhere. Would you mind sharing your current HUD and VUD version numbers and what the new number is if you update it?
Does anyone have the ability to post what the current infotainment software version should be? Or where we can find this?
Edit1: it seems I have an update this afternoon after checking a moment ago. Once the update is complete, I will edit this post again with the current software version.

Edit2: update complete. Photos added.
thanks for posting this!
hopefully it will come to me soon…maybe it’s released in batches
Any noticeable changes?

I haven't noticed anything yet - I'll post what I find once I spend some time in the car tomorrow. The first thing I did try was to see if Carplay would mute music audio when reading a text message aloud... nope - for some reason this system insists on having messages read on top of music audio playing. Minor frustration but frustrating nevertheless.
Well, this is pretty nice. Apparently the Lexus gods heard us. I haven’t gotten the update yet, but it is likely going out in batches. I’ll probably wait till more people start installing it and it starts popping up online before I install. Want to see if this update introduces any new bugs.
I would be curious to see what your screens say under "Model Info" after the update. I don't have any update history to look at, but when I look at Model Info it gives a list of several components and their version #s. The first entry "HU SW", which I wonder stands for Head Unit Software. I'm at version 1050 for that. Car is just weeks off the assembly line.

oh that’s interesting. Seems the consensus is that this update updates to version 1040. I wonder if there might be another one coming that fixes recent bugs from the factory or from this newly released 1040.
Edit 1: I found this video from an update to the Toyota Tundra that also shows the new system update as 1050 and the video was posted a month ago. So it seems like there’s definitely another update in the pipeline. For the last update, Melissa from Northside Lexus and LSFT did videos showing the new update. Hopefully the same the comes for this.
