MP4 files in USB flash drive can only play music but no video on the multimedia system. Does the system not supporting video files? Anybody experiencing this problem.

Are you in Park and have the Parking Brake set? Playing video from the built in disc player
requires those to be engaged to show the video. When you release the PB you continue to
get the Audio from the source.

There is no built-in disc player on 2022 NX. Only USB flash player is available. I have the parking brake set but only audio but no video play from MP4 files.

I just called Lexus. Was told 2022 NX multimedia system is not supporting any video files from USB flash drive.

You can try this method. Since it actually shows youtube videos being played on the NX infotainment screen, I assume it will work provided you can prevent Android Auto from being updated to a version that inevitably breaks it.
