Base model new NX versus F-Sport old NX
I have a 2020 NX F Sport (Non-hybrid). It has loads of features including heated and ventilated seats, sports pedals etc. I now have the chance to buy the new (2022) NX HYBRID, but I can only afford the base model hybrid. Would you rather an F Sport version of the older NX, or a base model hybrid of the new one?

I guess that depends on many factors such as:
- Why do you want to switch? Design, gas efficiency etc...
- What's the trade-in value/residual on your current Fsport nx?
I agree with the gb350h, not the best time to buy a new vehicle. It's a seller's market and long wait times for delivery

The trade in is incredible these days and you would get the most money out of the 2020 now unless the supply continues to get worst. For us the Canadian, we never get anywhere close to the same discount as the people in the US, so the high trade in value currently outstripped the tiny discount we normally get for a new vehicle.
I would switch to the hybrid if you are after the fuel efficiency. I have been driving mine for the past two weeks (city & hwy) and I am getting more than the posted mpg.

I would sell my F sport for $68k. Pay out $58k to Lexus. And use the $10k as a deposit on leasing the new base model hybrid. The repayments ($185/week) work out the same for either car at 4 years, 10,000 kilometres. My question is, do you think a new designed 2022 hybrid base model, is better than a 2020 F Sport with its of fancy bits?

A 2020 has all of the bells and whistles you really need, even if they aren't the ones that are trying to seduce you into buying a 2022.
I have a low mileage 2017 F-Sport that I bought new, and I am contemplating moving up to a 2023 if Lexus has the bugs sorted out and the pricing is not outrageous, but let's be honest with ourselves, do we really need a change? Do we not love our current F-Sports?
If the answer is yes, then by all means take your chances on a new car when your "old" care is still very nice and fun to drive.
