A friend of mine works for a company that provides windshields to the many Ontario auto plants. Told me the Lexus plant in Cambridge, Ontario was their most difficult customer as windshields were rejected for the tiniest of flaws. Whereas the nearby Ford plant would accept just about anything.

And that’s why we love Lexus 😀
I imagine TMMC also tries harder as the non-Japanese step child.

Lesson learned, perhaps.

My 2017 F-Sport windshield had "sparkles" in it when facing the sun. My dealer said they had not seen that before and replaced it with zero whining, and I found out later they had others come in later with the same complaint.

They actually make the new Nx right alongside the Rav4 so I find this hard to believe now

A friend who used to work for both Toyota and Honda factories in Ontario said that Toyota was much stricter. I can only imagine that Lexus would be even more stringent.
