How'd you blackout the emblems? Looks beautiful!! I'm so excited, I'm getting a white NXh and am doing a chrome delete ASAP. I hadn't considered the emblems, but they look so good. Might do my calipers too. What about a red 3M wrap for the rearview window chrome?? Thanks for sharing.

In my opinion, if you want to do the calibers right, it's going to be a 500-800 job, and it's just not worth it IMO.

Thanks guys, the emblems are plasti dipped for now. I know it’s not the proper way to do it but it’s temporary, just wanted to see how they looked before I painted them permanently or get gloss black ones. There are no black emblems for sale currently so just waiting for those to come up.

I would advise against the dip or spray paint, and wrapping any of these letters is not practical.
At this time, you literally have one of the nicest 350s in the entire world. I'm dead serious about that.

The chrome accents on the side rear view mirrors. Many many journalists have talked about these side rear view mirrors and the fact that they forgot to black out this chrome. It does not look classy. It looks out of place. Definitely an oversight by Lexus!!!

looking into some carbon fibre options for that area. The side mirrors in general is outdated and brought from the last gen NX, wish they used the IS mirror instead. I’m not a fan of plasti dip or vinyl either, just wanted to see how the emblems looked and having the option to revert if needed.

The carbon fiber is nasty and tacky. I'm sorry. Please don't do a carbon fiber. Plus, keep in mind that unless you are doing some overlapping, the stretching you're going to have to do with a vinyl wrap given the awkward and diagonal shape of the Chrome on that section, is not going to look cute on those side mirrors if you are using that carbon fiber wrap.

Do not do a dip because it will trip and it's no good. They can remove the emblems and put a third party aftermarket emblems that for a manufactured in black and you could keep the old ones. That's the right way to do it.
