I understand the “push to open” sticker, but the left side of it suggests to me that I’m supposed to pull it off?
any thoughts?
Push twice to open it.
You only pull in an emergency situation; such as the car battery being dead. Doing that turns off the Lexus Safe Exit assist till the next time the car is started.
The left image is saying to remove the sticker. If it weren't there, people could get the impression that the words are a part of the design/handle since it blends in pretty well.

I meant is that suggesting one should pull off the sticker - not pull the handle.
Me too, they are there for instructional purposes only when we first take delivery of our cars.
In the old days dealers used to put a rectangular vinyl sticker in the rear window with the dealership name on it.🤬
I used to rip it off on delivery, only to find at the first service they put another one on! Eventually they got the message that I am not a free advertising hoarding!😬
