@LiBeRtAs Florida doesn't allow Windshield Tint. But I was online the Florida State website and if you have a medical prescription, and carry it in the car, you can get all the windows tinted darker even the windshield.

You need to look into the California Law to see if they have an exception as well. What could it do to ask your doctor?

SF Bay area here. Just had my wife's 24 NX350H tinted with 3M Crystalline all the way around, including the windshield. What a difference it makes, especially the front window and windshield. My wife no longer nags on how hot the side windows and windshield gets, it is just a little warm to the touch from the inside, even on 95F days we had recently.

Just tinted 35% ceramic rear windows. The NX came factory with '20%' privacy windows which wasn't as dark as I wanted nor did it repel heat. The tinter said the 20% wasn't accurate as privacy glass is a bit lighter than the rated amount we're used to with film so I did 35% on top of the factory which turned out pretty subtle. I feared the tint being too dark from the inside and 35% turned out well so I'm happy.

Does anyone know if this is the same for MY 2024? If not, does anyone have the info for that?

I had ALL of the door windows, all of the rear windows and sunroof covered with 30% Ceramic XPEL XR Plus with the Rioja Red interior. The Windshield was covered with Clear XPEL XR Plus. I just made the decision to tint but not push the Florida law. I only did them for the UV and IR protection. I still like looking out the windows and being able to see good at night.

Prior to the tint applied the dashboard was 122 degrees. Now that the windshield has been tinted it's been running 92 degrees. I shot the front seats as well and they now 85 degrees. I forgot to get a reading before tinting for the seats.

Thank you to the tinters here and their insight. my 2023 Lexus Is just had tints and I have two side windows that had lint/hair marks. it s scheduled to be redone at no cost by a reputable shop but I ll have to question him on this first. I can either leave the imperfections or see what he says about removing safely. Are the rear side windows coated ? any other expert advise. thank you. great information!!

I'm looking to have the front windshield covered with a UV/heat rejection tint (mostly clear), but the manual says not to block 1.6" around the camera. Has anyone had any issues with the camera since tinting?

No issues here. But they didn't cover that area. The Clear Tint went around the Plastic box that contains the camera. The computer cut the tint so that they don't remove the plastic cover, they just go around it.

No issue here as well. 3M Crystalline series installed for 2 months, the tint went around the camera.

I’d love ideas on what windshield tint percentage to get (Llumar) on a cloudburst gray 2NX. I currently have 20% all around living in Los Angeles. Thoughts?
