I live in the Niagara region in Ontario Canada . As of Saturday June 15 2024 10:50 am eastern my app not communicating still. Last update to info on app shows June 12. I hadn’t used my app in a few days and was out running errands on Friday. I had crossed the border from Canada into the US and was attempting to use my navigation and ‘Hey Lexus’ was not responding. It would stay silent and say ‘the feature has timed out stopping voice control’. It would respond if I typed in the destination, so the navigation seems to be working to some degree, the Hey Lexus feature doesn’t work for navigation, but I’ve tried it to make adjustments such as lower the temperature and it seemed to work fine. I’ve shut down my Apple CarPlay on my phone and removed the Lexus app to see if it cleared up my navigation issues and it did not. I’ve signed out of the Lexus app a number of times removed the app cleared the cash brought it back into the phone and it’s still not responding.

...I think I need to call the dealer for a warranty service...and they'll say it my phone issue 😆

Is this app issue June 2024 only happening in Canada?
Just to be clear, is this Lexus app issue only affecting cars in Ontario Canada? Or is the US having same issue with lost communication between car and app?

Just checked and mine hasn't been connected since June 9 @ 2:00 PM! Yet it appears the digital key is working, I have the little green icon at the top of my S23 display.

I too called Lexus Canada earlier this week and they too asked me to bring vehicle in to dealer. So I will be going in sometime next week to have them reset interface, at least it sounds like it’s not the DCM which I thought was likely the problem. What I do find odd is that everyone who has been experiencing this issue started to experience at around the same time.
I too use my app daily, perhaps Lexus has an algorithm that once you’ve reached “x” number of remote starts or “x” number of app refreshes they see how heavily you rely on the app and want you to experience not having it so that when it does expire they reel you into to their subscription services = corporate greed.
On principle alone, no way I’m paying for a subscription to remote start my car and it seems some of the other luxury brands are or have moved to subscription services for using features (i.e. heated seats) which we paid for and came with the vehicle at time of purchase.
Not impressed Lexus…

The reset is just within the Lexus Interface. Once you reset it will wipe everything. I think the tech specialist removed my car from my Lexus app and after that I had to restart everything. I don't know if that needs to be done in order for everything to start working again, or it would automatically work again. Cos after the restart and reactivation of the remote connect, it stopped working again. But this morning it started to work.

Good news, from the vehicle, I just tried going into settings -> apps -> general then click on reinstall all apps, waited a bit and then Lexus app is working to get status updates form the NX again. Couldn't believe the fix was so simple.
Everyone should try that before wasting your time at the dealer.
I will report back if it stopped working again.

Seems mine reconnected sometime yesterday. Checked it last night around 10:30 PM and all is well.. Same this morning. So maybe something at the corporate level was "fixed".

Thank you so much StraySheep as you have saved me a 45 min drive each way to dealership, plus a ton of frustration.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Dad’s out there!

I meet this issue as well. Since June 10, I can not update the vehicle information. However, I can use SOS button to connect the call center. I called Lexus Canada, they asked me back to the dealership to check DCM last Wednesday. I returned to dealership last Friday. The master mechanic checked everything, and everything looked good but it still not working. He tried disconnecting the battery and checking the software and so on. Anyway, they require me back to the dealership check again next Tuesday. I am confused about why my friend's 2024 uxh is perfect connection between vehicle and application.
BTW, I am really disappointed for Lexus now. I met lots of issues for my car, such as the rearview mirror shaking, gas door not opening, noise from driver's side door, battery exhaust within one and half years, engine light in winter, and so on. Fortunately, I have the warranty for my car now. Some issues were fixed for free. However, I am exhausted for this car, I want to trade into uxh or IS. Does anyone have any suggestions?
