I'm with you Dkaplan, I just sold an RCF for an NX and don't regret it. I always loved the V8 sound, the seats were better, and I really miss the Mark Levinson (not an option for the 450), but I was never driving it. I'm in a rural area, the roads are terrible, everyone drives trucks/suvs so I could never see around them, and most trips/errands required a lot of trunk space, so we always took the wife's NX.....amazingly practical car.
My NX replaced a 2017 Audi A4, which I actually turned in when the lease expired back in late 2019. Due to Covid, I was able to get by sharing my wife’s 2012 Camry for over two years. The NX is quite a step up from the Camry.
I had a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid that I traded for a Grecian Water 2022 NX 350h. I miss the space a bit but the Lexus is so much more luxurious! I was getting 42mpg on the Toyota so hope the Lexus will be close. No complaints about the RAV4 other than I did have to replace the gas tank (no cost) as it wouldn't fill all the way. Traded as got a great trade in offer and it was out of warranty.
Reason for selling
- NX350H MPG tripled my BMW’s (12MPG)
- LEXUS reliability > BMW reliability
- Sick of driving a super low car and replacing front lip
- The Lexus interior / 14” infotainment system just sold me 😮💨
Replaced my 2021 CX-5 Grand Touring Reserve. I was interested in the NX for a more comfortable/quiet ride, better tech and the better handling/mileage.
The used car market also helped me sell my CX-5 for around the price I bought it for.
