I don't get the beeping alert when I am backing up nor do the sound come on when I am close to a car in front of me. I had that on my previous NX and I miss it. Am I missing a setting that needs to be turned on? I checked everything and I don't see any options to turn on the alerting sound. I have the NX350 F Sport.

Make sure you have your "Parking sensors" on your car and they are enable.

You are referencing the thread on Park Assist. So following up on my question and integrating it with your post yo answer OP. Does OP have Park Assist package and if so is it turned on?

I think even the base F sport would have park assist, could be wrong? Sounds like something is not enabled or set to least sensitive mode. F sport3 here and car is always beeping.

Intuitive Parking Assist is part of the 350 F sport luxury package.

Sorry for the late reply. Got busy with work. I have the base model F Sport so don’t have Intuitive Park Assist. Even with the base model F Sport, I still don’t get the feature of beeping backup camera?

I just turned up the volume to high as it was on mid before. I still don’t hear the beeping sound when I get close to another object back or front.

Else it won't beeps because, there's no sensors

Confirmed I don’t have the sensors hence why nothing is beeping. Very disappointing. Just should have waited the extra 6 weeks for delivery of the luxury F Sport package.

The Lexus Safety System is standard and includes high speed auto braking using the
camera and grille mounted radar unit. The optional Intuitive Park Assist w/Auto Braking,
Rear Cross-Traffic Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection is included with either the
Luxury Package "LP" or F-Sport w/Luxury Package "LT".
