Hi does anyone know what this icon means? It shows up in the sign assist area where the speed limit, stop sign, no u-turn sign, etc. show up. It's appeared a few times while I was on the freeway and I'm not sure what it means. Maybe like temporary speed limit or something?

Looks like a timed speed limit? Normally 65 mph, but at certain times it's 55?
Never seen that sign, could be some local or State thing. It is not in an Ontario Canada drivers handbook, could not find it in a California one either. Guess it's out there somewhere.

I'm actually in California so I have no idea what this could mean
In my .pdf manual, I found this section. Page 527.
Looks like some speed signs (I think these are signs, not the map based speed indicators) can have supplemental marks.
The bottom one here is "Time". Doesn't really say what that means though.
I'll venture a guess that it is in a variable speed zone. We have a few of those around here on the highway/freeway.
Our signs are based on traffic speeds to slow people down when there is other slow traffic. I might consider that "Time" indicator to be valid in that case.
I'll try to keep an eye out next time I'm in one of those zones. It's not often though...
