Yup I totally get they can't duplicate it. Dealer has been great; wish I could say the same about Corp.

Being reported to Transport Canada and will notify many publications to have on record.

I feel good that it is now reported and checked

All for now.... unless it fails again...

Cheers

Another update

Just picked up the vehicle.

The service advisor was a bit in the dark as to the changes. According to Lexus Canada they did not find anything.

There are very noticeable changes in my car. I don't know what they did, but it runs differently. All in a good way.

The brake pedal is much more sensitive and has no play. A very light touch you feel the brakes engage. I had play in the brakes before, nothing strange, but definite play.

I am very happy that something was done, and after all this headache, I don't care what they did.

Runs great, super smooth, great brakes! YEA!

Thanks everyone for your support!

That's great to hear! Glad you have your vehicle back. And yes, I agree: the new NX is a fantastic, fabulous machine that I'm glad I own.😜

Wow. Are you able to find something to replace it with? If not, what will you be doing till then? I'd like to get out of my RDX but I can't get a 350h!

Is that an RX? Which engine? I tried an RX -- they have better availability of those for whatever reason -- but I found the seats more comfortable in the NX.

Yup 2022 RX350 F Sport 3.

For me, the seats are a little wider than my F Sport3 NX seats. 6' 1' 220 lbs

They are also a little deeper with helps my smashed-up hip. The NX seat was digging into my hip and some days it was just too painful to drive.

Really needed a bit more room and the back seat is better for the Grandsons car seat.

Most of all, my Wife feels safer in it than the NX when the brakes failed. We've had a few RX's before so that's what we have again, at least for the next few months.

The deal maker was the dealership really stepping up to help us. 7 cars in 11 years with them probably helped.

Lots of RX350's at least in Ontario, one or two F Sport 3 and zero 450H F Sports3

In the end it's just another car. I drive my Wife nuts!

Cheers!!!

Me neither, but my Wife freaked out with the brake failure. That sealed it.

You better believe it! I told her I was going to wait for the truck to come in and boy did I get the hairy eyeball.

Hello Mr. Dealer, see you Tuesday for delivery.

It's the 2023 RX that has the "improvements" correct?

wow! I can’t believe they gave it back to you and couldn’t fix it.

My car left me stranded today at the light. Brake felt funny and said “auto stop malfunction” and it kept coming on. I tried to restart my car and the car wouldn’t turn back on. It said “key not detected” when it was out of my pocket”. Then it said “press brake to turn on” and I did, but kept putting me in accessory mode and was hard as a rock (the brake pedal) as I kept trying to turn it on. A cop was a few cars behind me and called a tow truck as she said it’s an urgent matter as I’m blocking traffic.

I had to pay $300 to get it towed to the dealer. I’m sending that bill to corporate and they better pay for it!
